24. Late Night Talk

Elizabeth’s POV

We have been having so much fun, so far we have painted each other’s nails and talked about our boys or and about our most embarrassing moments. Now, we were in the living room watching The Vow. I was sprawled out on one of the couches with my legs on Perrie’s knees sharing a bowl of popcorn. Eleanor and Sophia were on the floor in front of us sitting on pillows and covered with a blanket sharing a bowl of popcorn of their own.

“Hey Ellie, I know Harry and you were talking outside before you knocked on my door but I can’t help but be curious. Is everything alright?” Eleanor asked turning her head to me and tossed a piece of popcorn into her mouth.

“Yea, everything is alright, he was just giving me a gift.” I simply stated grabbing the bowl of M&M’s off of the floor and started to pick out the red ones. When I realized none of them said anything I looked up and saw that they were staring at me waiting for me to continue with anticipation. 

I placed the bowl back down onto the floor smiling. I pulled the necklace out from under the sweatshirt and the three of them gasped smiling from ear to ear looking at one another. “Yea I had the same reaction, I couldn’t believe it.” I held the pendant in both of my hands pressing it against my chest biting my lower lip. “I love it! “

“You really like him don’t you?” Sophia said smiling arching her brow placing her arm on the edge of the couch resting her head.

I nodded as soon as she asked the question. “I do I really do. “ I sighed and removed my legs from Perrie’s knees and hugged them to my chest.

 “I mean I know I just meet him and I might be sounding mental to you guys but I never felt this way before. I know it’s such a cliché thing to say but it’s true. All throughout high school I have just been with complete assholes who have made me feel worthless and with Harry” I said and paused for a minute trying to find the right words. “It’s different he actually care and wants me to be happy.” I smiled and bit my lip resting my chin on the top of my knees.

“That is so cute! Sophia said happily to me. “I mean I’m happy for the both of you. I am happy that Harry has found someone who actually cares for him and that he cares for as well”

Eleanor smiled then picked up her cellphone from the floor next to her looking at the screen. “It’s late we should probably go to sleep, we have a big day tomorrow.” She said standing up and turned off the T.V. The three of us picked up the bowls off the floor and placed them on the table grabbing the blankets and headed upstairs to sleep. 

Eleanor showed Perrie and Sophia to the guest room where they would be sleeping because the four of us will not all fit on her bed. Once she came back the both of us climbed in her bed and she turned off the lamp for us to sleep.

I turned onto my side to face Eleanor. I could still see her with the moonlight shining through the window. “Hey Eleanor?” I shyly whispered to her.

“Yea?” she said keeping her eyes closed but was paying attention and wanted me to continue.

“Thank you for everything. You are amazing, sweet and so lovely.  The three of you are so amazing. I still cannot believe that you guys wanted to get to know me”

Eleanor opened her eyes and looked at me and gave me a small smile “Ellie we all love you.”

“There is one thing that is bothering me” I stated and she furrowed her eyebrows.

“Oh, and what is that?” she asked curiously. I sighed and took in a deep breathe closing my eyes for a brief moment then opened them back up to look at her.

“Do you think Harry will get tired of me?”  I said and Eleanor frowned.

“Why do you say that?”

“Well I mean look at him and then look at me, there is a huge difference. Harry is very charming, good looking, humble, and so down to earth. Plus, all the girls swoon over him.” I mumble rolling my eyes at the image of other girls throwing themselves at him, like that stupid slut known as Mandy.  Eleanor giggled. “He is just so perfect and I’m just here you know?”

Eleanor prompted herself on her elbow and starred down at me. “Elizabeth you are far better than what you can see. You don’t see yourself clearly. You are beautiful! Just because you don’t see yourself as perfect doesn’t mean someone else doesn’t. Believe me Ellie when I say that Harry is absolutely smitten with you. He has never been this head over heels for a girl ever. Take it from someone who has been in a relationship for a long time, you two will last just as long as you are both honest  and tell each .

I smiled at her and she snuggled back onto the bed. “So don’t worry Ellie, and no matter what happens what struggles you or the two of you go through the three of us will always stick by your side.”  She said reaching over and gave my hand a tight reassuring squeeze.

“Goodnight” She said placing one of her hands on her pillow the other across her torso over the blanket closing her eyes.

“Goodnight" i said closing my eyes and allowed my body to drift of to sleep.
