25. Guess Who?

Elizabeth’s POV

                In the morning we all woke up bright and early to go to the mall to shop for our dresses for the winter formal. We were now sitting at the food court eating pizza at a small round table. I took a sip of my soda that was in a plastic cup with a straw glancing at the windows of other stores to see if anything else would catch my eye.

                “I am so glad we found our dresses!” I heard Perrie say and I turned my attention back to her as I set my cup back onto the table.

I nodded agreeing with her “Yea, now we don’t have to worry about it” I sighed. “I was so stressed out especially since Harry wants to color coordinate and-” I stopped talking my vision turning black two hands were placed over my eyes.

“Guess who?” I heard a deep raspy voice say and I smiled. Speak of the devil.

“Hey Harry” I said as he pulled his hands away and smiled at me and gave me a peck on my lips.  “How did you know where we were?” I asked shaking my head at him with a small smile on my lips.

He chuckled at me. “Babe you slept over at Eleanor’s so you could come to the mall early” he said pulling up a chair from another table and placed it next to me and sat down.

I rolled my eyes. “I know that, but I mean how did you know exactly where we would be?”

“I texted Perrie” he said simply with a shrug. I smiled at him in disbelief. I reached my hand over to the box of pepperoni pizza in front of us and dropped it onto my empty plate and sat it in front of him. He kissed my cheek and picked the pizza off of the plate and took a bite and set it back down as he chewed.   

“Harry you are going to die when you see Elizabeth in her dress tomorrow night!” Sophia said wiggling her eyebrows at him and Harry just chuckled and continued eating his pizza. Sophia looked at him scowling not happy that he didn’t say anything.

“Don’t worry about it Sophia. He’s just eating, never mess with a boy and his food” I laughed shaking my head at Harry.

“I’m hungry, I skipped lunch with the lads to come and see you!” Harry raised his eyebrows at me. “You should be happy.”

I smiled taking a drink from my soda. I am happy; to be honest I have never been this happy in my entire life.  First, I meet Harry and things have been going better than I could possibly imagine. Then I met his friends and these three beautiful girls that I adore. Nothing could ruin this for me; no one can take any of these people away from me. Not even my overbearing parents.

Speaking of my parents I have not heard from them at all. Usually they call or text to check up on me and this week they haven’t.  I leaned over in my seat to grab my purse off the floor placing it on my lap to take my cellphone out. I unlocked the screen; I didn’t have any missed calls or text messages.

“Are you alright?” Sophia asked me holding her drink in her hand, a concerned look very prominent on her face.

I sighed placing my cellphone back into my purse. “Yea, it’s just my parents are away on a business trip and they usually message me or call but they haven’t” I shook my head biting my lower lip.

“Well, maybe they are busy and haven’t had time to. After all they are away on business”

“Yea, you’re probably right” I said and gave her a small smile so they wouldn’t worry about me being upset. However, the truth of the matter was that I am upset. Who wouldn’t I be upset about this sort of thing knowing that something could be wrong, or something could have happened?
