Elizabeth’s POV

Eleanor opened the door to her house and we both walked in setting our bags down on the floor next to the door. We set our purses down on the small table placed against the wall and walked to the living room.

Eleanor furrowed her eyebrows. “Where are the boys?” she wondered and went over to check the kitchen. A few seconds later she walked back and stood in the doorway of the kitchen.  “Louis?” She yelled.

“In the backyard, babe!” Louis yelled back. I looked at Eleanor confused and she walked to the double glass doors sliding it opened.

We both walked in the back yard and saw Louis and Niall standing by the grill, smoke descending from the grill and into the air above.

“What is this all about?” Eleanor asked walking over to Louis.

“We were hungry women!” Niall yelled playfully. “The both of you took too damn long” he whined and I giggled.

I glanced around and saw Perrie and Sophia sitting at the black table with matching chairs, drinking lemonade. Zayn and Liam were kicking the football (Soccerball) around. Everyone was here except fro Harry.

I walked a few steps towards Niall and Louis feeling a bit uneasy. “Hey guys, where’s Harry?” I asked pulling my eyebrows together.

“Oh, he went to go talk to you dad” Niall said with a shrug moving the food around on the grill and then immediately stopped. His eyes widened and covered his mouth with his free hand.

“What!” I gasped.

“Nice going, genious” Louis said sarcastically and hit Niall on his upper arm.

“What do you mean he went to go talk to my dad?” I asked, starting to freak out.

“Yea, he went to go talk to your dad. How can you not grasp what I am saying?” Niall asked looking at me.

I shook my head. “Niall, how can you not grasp that my dad will call the police!” Niall raised his eyebrows.

“Oops, I didn’t know that. Maybe I should have gone with him”

“Yea, oops!” I quickly turned and jogged to the side gate.

“Wait love, I’ll go with you!” Niall yelled back at me once I ran out of the gate slamming it shut.  Luckily, Eleanor only lives a block away.

Harry’s POV

I pressed down onto the door bell and waited for one of her parents to answer. I looked down taking in a deep breathe, the door clicked opened and I looked up seeing her mom.  She looked a bit shocked to see me standing here.

“Harry” Mrs. Parker spoke in a quiet tone. “What are you doing here?”

“Hello Mrs. Parker” I said giving her a nod. “ I came here to talk to Mr. Parker”

Mrs. Parker bit on her lip unsurely, “I don’t think that would be a good idea it’s –“

“Honey, who’s at the door” A male voice said and I looked over Mrs. Parker shoulder and saw Mr. Parker walking in and immediately froze when his eyes locked onto me.  Mrs. Parker stepped a little to the side.

“What are you doing here?” He asked sternly walking over rolling up his sleeves

Mrs. Parker’s eyes widened. “Richard!”

Mr. Parker looked at her confused. “What? I’m roller up my sleeves. It’s hot in here” I fought the urge to roll my eyes at him.

“Sir, I came to talk to you” I spoke up changing the subject.  “I want to enlighten you on some things.”

“What is it?” he snapped but I didn’t expect any less from him.

I sighed “I know that you don’t want me to be with your daughter.”

“Yes”

“I’m not done.” I said trying hard to not lose my patience. “ I know that Elizabeth decided to leave because of it but I just came to tell you that it’s not fair.”

“She made her choice” He paused looking at me with a cold stare. “Besides, she will see that she made the wrong one the day you decide to leave her once you get whatever it is that you want”

I scowled. “I’m sorry you feel that way. You are wrong, I will never leave her or let her get away” I paused. “Unlike you” I added, frustrated with this man. How can he treat his daughter this way? Shouldn’t a father want their kids to be happy?
