Prolouge

Elizabeth ran through the sticky, muddy forest running from it. She ran as fast as her legs allowed her to. Her heart was beating so fast in her chest, it felt like it was about to explode any minute.

Never in her entire life she would have imagined herself to be in a situation like this. This shows that life can be very unexpected. It can change instantly. You can be alive one minute and gone the next. That is what Elizabeth feared the most. To die, but not just to die, to die alone.
