Mew Mew Power Strange Happenings: A New Beginning Reboot

Chapter 1

The Sun was shining bright. It has been around 20 years ago since the battle of Fuyuki. Nairi was asleep in her bed that morning when she knows it's time for her first training session. The Plusle girl got up and wondered why. Her twin brother Toshi was up too, the Minun boy was all ready out of bed and was waiting for his sister.

"Come on," he called out.

"Okay, I'm coming," his sister moaned.

Nairi was never a morning person. She had slept in late a few times before. Her mother is Am, the brave mew mew that battled Fuyuki twenty years ago. Their father is Otto. They shared their mother's hair color, but Nairi always resembles her mother with a hair loop covering her left eye. Toshi. Not so much, but has his mother's spirit and courage. Am waited for her son and daughter to meet up in the dining hall of the base.

"What is it?" Toshi asked.

"You two are old enough to start testing out your abilities," Am answered, "There will be time to prepare yourselves for a hiking trip in a few months."

Nairi wasn't so sure what to do. She went outside with her brother to think things through.

Toshi was out on a walk a few hours later. He looked around the clubhouse they built a while back. It looked like it stood strong, even against the rainy seasons. A shadow flew right at him when he wasn't looking.

"Ooaf!"

Toshi landed on soft dirt and looked at the shape that landed on him. It was a Pidgey girl.

"I'm so sorry!" she wailed.

"It's okay," Toshi called, "Don't cry! I can't stand tears!"

She was hurt. Toshi noticed her right wing was busted.

"Don't strang yourself," he added, "My name is Toshi. What's yours?"

"Y- Yumi," the Pidgey girl answered.

"Where are your parents?"

"I'm an orphan."

Toshi was shocked that this girl was all alone without any parents.

"Uh, maybe I need to take you to one of the healers," he said.

Yumi was able to get off him and looked at her right wing.

"What's all that noise?"

Toshi knows that voice. It belonged to a Litten boy.

"Lloyd, can your mother help me out?" he asked.

Lloyd took a look at the wing Yumi busted.

"Yeah, I think so," he answered, "Come with me."

Lloyd led Toshi to the healing hut where his mother Tammy is. Yumi looked a little scared, but manage to keep on walking to the hut.

"Hello, Toshi," Tammy said sweetly to her nephew, "How can I help you?"

"Auntie Tammy," Toshi answered, "I need your help. Yumi broke her wing."

"Oh dear... I'll see what I can do."

Lloyd looked at his mother.

"Lloyd, help stack up the herbs we need to prepare the hiking in a couple months," Tammy said.

Lloyd nodded and went inside to help his mother. Toshi hoped that what would his mother say.

Nairi was taking her walk with Diana, Lloyd's sister, and she is a Rockruff mew mew. She is still looking for another rock type mew mew to test out her skills. Nairi hope that there are things to do when she heard that her brother found a girl near the clubhouse. Her brother returned to the spot he found Yumi.

"Well there you are," Nairi said, "Where were you?"

"Helping a girl I ran into," her brother answered, "I'm planning on seeing her again tomorrow..."

"Is there something going on here?" Diana asked.

"No, don't be silly!" Toshi replied, "There is nothing between us, we're friends I just met her!"

Both girls giggled.

"Stop that!" Toshi yelled, "I was just helping her out."

"I better have a look-see," Diana put in, "I will see you later Nairi."

She left the twins to talk with one another.

"Well, seems like you got yourself a girl type friend.." Nairi teased.

"Shut it..." Toshi grumbled.

Then they heard someone calling them.

"Here, little twins, come on out!"

"Oh no..." Toshi sighed, "It's Mandy looking for us."

They went into hiding. The Markrow girl was looking for them. Then Nairi planned ahead to use her skills to take her by surprise.

"Got you Mandy!" the Plusle girl taunted.

"Yeah, you did," Mandy replied, "I haven't came alone you know, I brought my sister with me."

Nairi knew who she meant. Toshi was found by a Wingull mew mew.

"You found me all ready Vivian," he sighed.

Vivian nodded.

"Your blue ears were a good giveaway," she replied.

"Your mother was looking for you," Mandy added, "Better see what she wants."

Both the twins nodded and went back to the base.
