Toshi was wondering what will happen the next day. He knew that Lloyd was a bit shaken up and Flow went after him. He had a hint that they like each other. He saw the girls with Sparky and Lloyd coming to the front door.

"What was that about?" he asked.

His sister shrugged.

"Let him settle down for a bit," Flow mewed, "Lloyd took off and I had to find him in the east region base."

"Daisy gave me some tea mixed with a Passion Flower," Lloyd sighed, "I was crying until Flow found me. I'm glad she did."

"Wait, you went to the East Region base?" Toshi asked.

"They did," Sparky answered, "Well their territory to be exact."

"We're just taking Lloyd to his room," Nairi added.

Toshi knew that when Athena was killed by him, I think Lloyd has a fear somehow. He went to see Yumi for a bit.

"You're worried about Lloyd?" she asked.

"Yeah," Toshi answered, "The way he reacted was unexpected. I wonder what he is so scared of?"

"He's going to be fine," Yumi reassured her boyfriend, "You can talk to him once he's calmer."

Toshi waited for half an hour and Lloyd came out.

"We need to talk," he said.

"Look, I know what you saw.." Lloyd sighed.

"Yeah, but I can help you," Toshi put in, "Let's talk, boy to boy."

He led the Litten boy in his room.

"Tell me what had you so scared," he said, "Was it the blood?"

Lloyd gasped.

"I'll take that as a 'Yes'," Toshi added, "Sounds to me you have hemophobia."

Lloyd gulped.

"That means you have a fear of blood," Sparky added, "We can help you out here."

"I don't know.." Lloyd wailed.

"Pull it together," Toshi replied, trying to reassure him.

"I can try.." Lloyd sighed, "but minor cuts don't bother me when I heal them, but what I did to Athena was-"

"Wait, what did you do to her?" Sparky asked, "I promise I won't get angry. I hated her for years."

"I clawed her throat..." Lloyd sighed.

"Yikes.." Sparky added, "Well it served her right..."

It has been a week since Sparky joined, counting the day the rest of the mew mews accepted him. Nairi went out with him that evening. She looked around and hope this time it will be okay to tell him.

"So what's on your mind?" she asked.

"Just want to look for food," Sparky answered.

"Well I... I don't know if I could hunt.." Nairi added, "Never tried it."

"You should," Sparky replied, "It's not so hard once you get the hang of it. I see a rabbit up ahead. Stay quiet and still while I stalk it."

Sparky crouched down and crawled quietly to the rabbit. He leaped at it and took a clean killing blow with his teeth. Nairi was surprised how well he did it. Sparky carried the dead rabbit by the ears.

"Surely your aunt would want to cook this," he said, "You want to take a bite?"

"No thanks," Nairi added looking disgust, "I'm a vegetarian."
