The crowd saw Hutch who has calmed down at the moment. Soon Sparky thought long and hard and wanted to be with his old friend again.

"Hey Hutch," he sighed, "I'm sorry for being so rough on you.. Can you forgive me old friend...?"

Hutch nodded.

"I know you were grieving when you left," he said quietly, "and I understand you miss your mother very much. I left too and I know Kenji didn't care at all about your feelings. You sure gave him a good deep notch on his ear."

Sparky chuckled.

"He deserved it," he added, "for caring less how I felt. Hutch, what were you doing so close to the base?"

"I saw how the mew mews you live with now have a home," Hutch answered, "How they thrive. I thought to myself that I should live that kind of life too..."

"Nairi and her family have been taking great care of me," Sparky added, "I would of starved to death if it wasn't for her finding me."

"No wonder you look a little more round," Hutch put in.

"You'll be well fed soon enough," Sparky replied, "Those scars, how did you get them? The ones on your face and your left arm?"

"It's Aphrodite," Hutch sighed, "Ever since Athena died she's been meaner than ever. She gave me the scars on my face and then a wolf got me on the arm. I tried to get away and I think I did. I just want that awful abuse to be over..."

"You're safer here," Sparky reassured his friend, "Nairi's family will protect us. Supper will be served soon, want anything to eat? Erica can make you something."

That made Hutch's mouth drool.

"Some duck might be nice," he replied.

"Alright, I'll ask her," Sparky replied, "You can make yourself at home in this spare room here."

Hutch watched his old friend leave. He looked around. The base looked new to him. He was just been in bed for a while. He can get use to this in no time. He saw Sparky coming back with a duck leg on the plate.

"Here, eat up," he said.

Hutch couldn't resist and started eating like he's starved big time. Sparky knew he was doing the right thing.

"You know your mother would be proud,"

It was Nairi who spoke.

"Nairi!" Sparky yipped.

"You did the right thing," Nairi added, "Hutch forgave you for being rough and tough on him. I think he'll fit right in. Not sure if Percy has enough room..."

Toshi was about to go outside and then Gar noticed the look on his face.

"Where are you going?" he asked.

"Uh..."

Gar is sure he don't want his nephew do anything reckless. He remembered when he was a boy and about to do the unspeakable thing.

"You're going to kill Kenji?" he asked.

Toshi gulped.

"Toshi, revenge isn't the answer," Gar pointed out, "Sure he caused pain to others, but this is Sparky's fight, not yours."

"You don't understand," Toshi scolded, "He wrecked our-"

"Quiet!" Gar spat, "That clubhouse can be rebuilt, but you can't rebuild a life. I know that this is something that Sparky can do, but he needs to face the danger himself."
