There was an argument between Toshi and Flow. Nairi was awaken by that in the middle of the night. She whammed open the door.

"It's not my fault!" Toshi groaned.

"Yes it is!" Flow argued, "You were suppose to be watching Rika!"

"What, no way!" Toshi yelled, "I was asleep when-"

"WILL YOU TWO SHUT UP!" Mandy squawked.

"Others mew mews are trying to sleep!" Diana growled.

"Opes.." Toshi wailed.

"Sorry," Flow mewed.

Nairi sighed in relief and went back in her room, closing her bedroom door. She was glad that Mandy and Diana were mature of the situation. Nairi layed down and looked up. She remembered her mother Am telling about the Star mew mews, how they guide the living when they needed them.

"Are they calm?" A small voice asked.

"Rika, what are you doing under my bed?" Nairi gaped.

"I just wanted someplace quiet for a while," the Liepard girl answered.

"Augh, there's one thing I can't stand," Nairi growled in frustration, "is when they argue over stupid reasons.."

"I know.." Rika sighed, "It's silly..."

"You can sleep with me tonight," Nairi offered, "It's much quiet in here anyway..."

Rika cuddled close to her cousin and fell asleep against her. Nairi was still looking up.

Lloyd was sorting out herbs to give to Vivian.

"Your wounds should heal by now," the Litten boy mewed, "This should do it."

He layed down some Chervil on the table and unwrapped her bandages before applying it. It didn't sting as much as it did before and the Wingull girl layed perfectly still.

"There," Lloyd said after a while, "You won't need those bandages anymore. The wounds look better than before. The air may sting, but I think they needed some air to heal them completely."

"Thank you Lloyd.." Vivian whispered.

Lloyd nodded. He knew that he would be a good healer one day like his mother Tammy and his father Rick. He looked outside for a bit. He saw someone snooping around and knew he saw a stranger.

"You there, stop!" he spat.

He moved quietly and pounced on the shadow.

"Ow!"

Sparky looked startled as Lloyd pinned him down.

"What's the big idea sneaking around?" he hissed.

"Lloyd, let him go!"

Nairi cried out, rushing to Sparky's aid.

"What, but he's-"

Lloyd was lost in words.

"He didn't do anything wrong," Nairi scolded, "Let him up now!"

"Okay, jeez.."

Lloyd got off Sparky and he looked thin.

"Have you been feeding him some of our food?" he asked, "I can tell he's been fed some."

"He's been having a tough time looking for food," Nairi answered, "That's why I'm helping him."

"So that's why the pantry looks half empty," Lloyd gasped, "Why are you helping this rouge?"

"He's a loner," Nairi sneered, "He escaped the group Athena was from. I will tell my mother at the right time."

"I can't have you lie to everyone," Lloyd added, "Now that I know why the pantry is half empty, I can't lie ether."

"Okay, I'll tell them," Nairi sighed.

"Okay, good," Lloyd purred, "I need to take Sparky with me for a physical."

Nairi knows she could trust Lloyd. She watched the Litten boy take the Eletrike boy with him to the healing hut.

"Everyone, I've found this boy," Nairi told everyone the next morning, "I'm so sorry for sneaking food out of the pantry, and I wanted to help Sparky. He's thin and he hasn't eaten a thing. That's why Flow and I are helping him..."

"Why didn't you say anything sooner?" Toshi asked.

"I thought you would be mad, all of you would be.." Nairi cried.

"We appreciate your honesty, Nairi," Otto added.

"It's okay," Am cued to her daughter, "You were helping him, and that's one thing you're doing right."

"It's true," Flow mewed, "I was helping this boy too!"

"Both of you are selfless to think of others," Mya purred to her daughter, "but tell us before you grab food next time."

Everyone else looked a little confused, even Vivian who was out of the healing hut.

"He can stay," Linda told Nairi, "but he has to prove himself."

"I appreciated the hospitality," Sparky added, "but I think living here is much safer than outside in the bomb shelter. I don't want to starve anymore.."

Nairi was thrilled that her new friend will stay with them. Yumi wasn't too shy to show she couldn't trust him, but he will have to earn everyone's trust to prove himself worthy. He unpacked everything he took with him from his bomb shelter home into a new room. Nairi watched him and saw him in a better light. Her heart pounded soft, a sign she's falling in love with him.

"He'll fit in," Flow said from behind her, "Just let him settle in for a bit."

Nairi nodded and followed her cousin.

"I think that was the right thing," she sighed, "getting the rest of the mew mews to let him join. He looked thin.."

"He will be back to his normal body weight in no time," Flow replied, "I just wish he won't cause any trouble..."

"Stop worrying so much," Nairi added, "I'm sure he'll be fine. I needed to help him, but I think he's got it all figured out."

"It's getting late," Flow mewed, "Why don't we call it a night and get some sleep? Where was Rika?"

"In my room hiding," Nairi answered.

"I better get to bed," Flow added with a yawn, "I'll talk to you in the morning..."

Nairi went in her room too all tucked in bed.
