Part 8: Challenge

My team and team NDGO walked into Headmaster Greens office.

We were scared of what was gonna happen.

When we walked in, Green gave a friendly smile.

Green: Sit down!

We each took a seat nervously.

Green: You might be wondering why I called you here.

Dew: Yes. We kind of are.

Green: Well its near the end of the year and all teams are required to go on one last mission before the year ends.

I heard Octavia and Elliott groan in disappointment.

Me: Whats the objective?

Green: Atlesian Rhydonium Dust Activator.

Dew: What?

Green: A Rhydonium Dust Activator, or RDA, is a special device that that can contain highly volatile dust, while keeping it activated, that falls into the Rhydon category, whether it be in dust form or crystal form.

Zayne: The Rhydon category?

Me: Any kind of dust that can create power.

Nebula: Like Electricity dust or Ionic dust.

Zayne: So the Atlesian kind. Got it.

Gwen: As for the Activator?

Green: It acts as a power core for Atlesian super freighters.

Zayne: Then why do we want it?

Green: If we give it back to Atlas, we will be rewarded. With what I dont know.

Me: So whats the objective?

Green: Well a few bandits stole one from Atlas and tried to bring it to Vacuo, but they were attacked by a Nevermore and crashed an airship in the Fallen Lands.

Gwen: Oh great! I hate that place.

Nebula: Dont we all?

Green: You leave tomorrow.

We got up and went to our rooms and went to sleep.

*THE NEXT MORNING, MISSION BEGINNING*

I looked off the side of the Bullhead that we have been riding in for two hours now.

I dont know why we were returning tech to Atlas. They lost it so they should go find it, not us.

We landed infront of a somewhat large mountain that had two cave entrances.

Pilot: Okay! The bandits have set up shop in one of these caves. Your gonna have to split up to be able to find it.

I nodded at him and he took off.

Me: So whos going with who?

Zayne: I have no clue

Gwen came up to me and put her back against my arm.

Gwen: Conner will go with me...

Dew came up and grabbed my arm.

Dew: Me to!

Octavia wrapped her arms around me from behind.

Octavia: Dibs...

At this point it looked as if I had a sunburn.

Nebula came up to me and pushed Gwen, Octavia, and Dew aside.

Nebula: As your team leader, i order you to let him be on my team!
