Haven part 2: Turnover

*THREE WEEKS LATER*

The new academy wasnt all to great compared to Vacuo.

Not sure if that just because I got used to Vacuo or whatever, but Vacuo just turned out better for me.

Haven was tough for an academy.

Not saying Vacuo was easy. Im just sayin that Haven is much harder.

Especially the missions part

Traversing sand is much easier that traversing mountains

And that brings me to the sticky situation we are currently in.

We were assigned a clear out mission.

Sounds easy.

Nope.

We had to clear out the side of the mountain while dangling from a rappel rope.

There were King Tijitus boaring through the mountain below Haven.

My team and I were using ranged to take them out.

When the Tijitu got close we would switch to melee.

The Tijitu came out of a cave I was dangling just above

I used Couriers Oaths shotgun to pop some rounds into it.

It didnt do much

It went around into another cave and disappeared again

I dropped in front of another cave in the side of the mountain

I let the Rappel dangle

Sera slid down next to the edge I was standing on.

Sera: You see anything?

I flipped out a flash light from my coat and pointed it in.

Just then the Tijitu bolted out of the cave and rammed me.

I fell off the edge

But with quick thinking I grabbed the rappel

I was swung backwards.

I grabbed couriers oath from my coat.

I aimed it forward and pulled the trigger

The shot blew out one of the Tijitus eyes

It shook a bit and I swung myself forward.

I landed on its head and unfolded the weapon into sword mode and took off the sheath

I raised the sword and stabbed the Tijitu in the head

It began to dissolve.

I pushed my self off of it and it fully turned to dust.

I swung forward and slammed my arm into the stone cliffside.

Me: OW!!! Holy fuck that hurt!

Eric: You okay!?

Me: Yeah! Im good! My arm hurts though!

Sera: Lets back up to the top!

We walked up the cliffside with our rappels

We grabbed onto the railing of a walkway and threw ourselves over it.

Eric: That ended... Kinda well...

Headmaster Leon was waiting at the top

Leon: Nice work. Saw the whole thing.

Sera: We won. As always!
