Shade part 6: Karma

I walked out into the hall after my little preformance

At the end I had everyone claaping and cheering my name, and I had Nebula In tears.

I must admit that I felt kinda bad for her.

But she got what she deserved

In celebration of that night, we invited Kaleb and Team BRNZ to our dorm.

Bronze: You never told us you knew how to sing that well, Conner.

Ray: Nor did you tell us you knew how to play guitar.

Eric: You'd be suprised what he can do!

May: I love his voice!

I was trying not to fluster at all the compliments I was getting.

Just then the door got knocked on.

I stood up

Me: I got it!

I went over to it and opened it.

When I saw who it was I wished I had never answered.

It was Ayono, Zayne, and Elliott.

I put my head down

Me: What do you want?

Zayne: We saw your preformance.

I gulped

Elliott: And we want to request something of you.

Ayono: Meet us on the roof in an hour.

Zayne: We need to talk with you.

I gulped again

Me: Uhhh... Sure...

I closed the door and went over and sat on my bed and sighed.

Eric: You really gonna go meet them?

Me: I gotta... Ive got no choice...

Kaleb: You want me to come with you? Just in case?

Me: No... No... I can handle it...

*ONE HOUR LATER, ROOF*

I stepped through the doorway and onto the roof.

It was nighttime and the broken moon overlooked us.

Elliott, Zayne, and Ayono stood looking over the distant capital of Vacuo.

I cleared my throat and they turned to face me.

Me: You said you wanted to meet me up here...

Zayne: We did...

We stood in silence

Elliott: Im not sure if youve heard about it but our team lost a mission recently...

Ayono: The defeat led to the death of around eighty White Fang.

She started to choke up when she spoke.

Zayne put his hand on her shoulder

Zayne: We were kicked out of the White Fang

I almost laughed at the irony

Me: So now your walking in my shoes?

They nodded they're heads in shame.

Zayne: We called you up here to say were... That were sorry for the way we treated you...

Elliott: Removing you from our squad was the worst decision weve ever made and we want to apologize to you. When we felt what it was like to have something out of your control change your life, we thought of you and how we treated you like shit.
