Overwhelmed

Gracie got home around 2am, but she didn't care. God Christian was so sweet. He was reserved and quiet, but every time a kid came up to him he wouldn't hesitate to take a picture. Then apologize to Gracie immediately.

Gracie never minded. That man would be an amazing father one day.

Breakfast went too quickly, she decided as she took his hand and accepted his warm hug. "I hate that you have to be there so early," she said quietly and looked up at him with slightly sad eyes.

"I know. But I love it," his grin every time he talked about baseball warmed Gracie's heart.

"As you should. I just want to get to know you more... Maybe we can have dinner at your place?" Gracie was nervous when she asked, scared that he'd be shifty about it. She needed to get the anxiety under control.

"I think I'd like that. I love spending time with you, Gracie. You don't have to worry about upsetting by asking to. Especially if tomorrow is the last day I get to," he promised and carefully took her hand once they got outside. Gracie could sense how solemn he was, and of course she felt it too, but she still was confused.

"You'll be in the cities in May. I will see you then. And I'm coming to Milwaukee for the summer that same weekend. You'll be so busy in the next month and a half you won't even notice," she was reassuring the both of them. She'd notice, for sure. She was so confused on why he was so intent with spending time with her. She wasn't interesting or anything.

"I'd notice every second that I'm not with you. But the rest of that is music to my ears," he winked and reached over to give her a kiss.

He couldn't stop himself. Her lips were plump and perfect, even when her teeth were working them. He acted without even thinking and gave her a soft kiss.

Shit. He shouldn't have done that. He only really knew her for a day but there's a sweet naivety about her that made him feel some type of way.

"I'm sorry, Gracie. I definitely should not have done that. I'm so sorry."

Gracie looked at him with wide grey eyes that tugged at Christian's heart. "Was it a mistake, or do you think I don't want it?" She asked softly, suddenly more confident in herself than ever.

"I... um... It's just," Christian ran a nervous hand through his hair.

"I'm okay with you kissing me, Christian. Don't get so nervous," Gracie whispered and gave him a slightly deeper kiss.

"Good," he smirked and winked. "I'll be doing a lot of it, then. But we should get going. I have to be there in an hour and I want to drive by the lake, too."

"I'd like that," she nodded and held his hand. "I have to hang out at home until the game. But I'll be there, for sure."

Christian let out a hum and drove along Lincoln Memorial Drive, letting a comfortable silence overtake them.

"Come down to the clubhouse after the game. I want to go right away... and don't wear that Braun jersey again," he said sternly but softly, kissing her again when he dropped her off in her quiet neighborhood. God she tasted like heaven to him.

"Sir, yes sir," she smiled against his lips and went inside, taking care of the dog for a few hours before getting ready. Yelich jersey, leggings, and a hoodie to keep warm.

And a condom just in case. The modern woman is always prepared.

Another amazing game for Christian. Just a triple shy of the cycle. But the Brewers lost.

Thus, she was expecting the sourness on his face when she got the the clubhouse.

"You had a great game, Christian. You can't win all 162 games," she soothed, gently massaging his hand.

"I should've done more, Gracie. I should've helped my team win."

"Christian. You had 3 hits... There isn't much more you could've done. The Cubs are a good team... Don't be so discouraged when you lose," she said softly and reached to give him a small kiss. She felt him deflate and pull her closer to him by the waist, his long thumb brushing against her bra.

"Let's go back to my place," he said in her ear and took her hand. "I drove today, so we can go right there. That okay?"

"That's okay," she smiled softly and followed him to the car, gasping at the hand trailing up her thigh the whole time.

"Let's go inside," he mumbled and took her inside, kissing on her neck from the second they got into his building.

"Slow down, tiger. We need to eat dinner before anything happens," she said softly and pulled him off.

"Eating is overrated," he whined, trying to push against her hands to kiss on her some more.

"Go shower, weirdo. I'll make some dinner," Gracie teased, pushing him in the door before going to his kitchen to start dinner.

Like a typical bachelor, Christian had next to nothing in his kitchen to make. So she improvised.

Steak and bean burrito bowls with some brown rice, avocado, and a lime dressing that was tart but simple. And a ton of cilantro.

And it was gone in seconds.

"Fuck that was delicious," Christian patted his belly and licked his lips. "Is this how you cook all the time because I almost always just grab Chipotle but this was better."

"I usually make something better, but you had nearly nothing in your kitchen," she smirked and curled into him. "I'm glad you liked it, though."

"It was delicious... Now I'm ready for dessert," he smirked then cringed.

"That was the corniest thing I think I've ever heard. Did that really sound good in your head?" She laughed and pulled him up.

"It sounded pretty bad in my head, too," he confessed, hands all over her as they went to the bedroom. "You are stunning, shit. Usually I go for the models but you... fuck," he whispered and gently cupped her breast.

Gracie blushed and led him to the bed. "I know I'm different than what you go for," she said softly. "But I don't think this is just a fuck."

Her words made Christian wink and he pulled her shirt off and gently removed her bra. "It definitely isn't, Gracie."

"Good," she smiled a bit, confident in her actions even though this was her first time doing this. He didn't need to know that; he'd just pull away and get squirrely.

Christian was quick to get himself nude and start worshipping Gracie's body. "Gracie... God damn you are beautiful," he whispered and ran his fingers over her wetness, using it as lubricant as he rubbed her clit and rolled the condom down his length. "Ready?"

Gracie was breathless, slightly overwhelmed with the progression of it all. She was ready, but she was also scared. She wanted to do this, but she was scared that she wouldn't be good at it. That it wouldn't make him happy.

"Yeah... I'm ready," she smiled a bit, taking his empty hand and squeezing it and her eyes as he entered her. Fuck. He was big. She was being stretched and it was kinda painful, but it also felt good.

"You okay, beautiful?" He frowned, checking her face and slowing down. Gracie was tight. He can't remember the last time he was in someone so tight.

"I'm okay," she nodded with a smile. And she was. The pain was subsiding and pleasure was taking its place.

She let out small whines as his thrusts picked up, her hips having a mind of their own as they thrust to meet his. Moments after his hand reached down to rub her clit, there were fireworks. She lost herself in the pleasure, noting that Christian had came as well.

"That was amazing. You're amazing," Christian smiled and kissed her neck as he pulled out and disposed of the condom.

And it was. She really wished she could do this every day for eternity. But she had to go back to Minneapolis.
