Chapter 3

Sir Pentious' POV

While I was in the middle of my slumber, I've dreamt that while I was sitting in the darkness, I heard a woman singing in the distance.

It sounded haunting and gave me shivers through my spine which I did not like.

As I was waking up, I realized that the smell of flowers and stream water smelled different. As if its old, giving me the feeling of nostalgia and making me miss the calming scent.

I shook it off and got up to stretch and shake myself a little bit. I opened my hood a couple of times before deciding to go back and probably reclone the eggbois.

That redhead cyclops almost took them all! I can't have servants serving and helping me if I don't have any left!

I sighed as I slithered out of the forest noticing the few yellow dots on my suit, assuming its pollen from the wind.

Your POV

As you sat there in silence, you felt him move and finally leave. You wanted to follow but you don't want the risk of being exterminated as it is extermination week.

Wait... Which means... That the snake demon could be in danger! Oh who are you kidding? Every demon here in hell is in danger except for the royals and high class demons which includes you.

You decided to follow anyway but decided that only from afar since you can't really control your scent.. Sort of.

I mean you can control it, sort of like trying to remember something but if you got distracted or stopped your mental effort of controlling it, it just happens. Like scratching an itchy spot on your body. You can control your actions through mental effort, but a little bit of distraction can make you wanna scratch that itch with a chainsaw.

Same goes for your scent, you can make a mental effort to stop releasing smell but a little bit of distraction makes your body go back to its floral smelling state, which makes it finding you easy.

You would practice controlling it with Al's help in a fun way of hide and seek. But a firefly or so would distract you and he would find you eventually.

You are now stepping out of your territory's border.. Well, more like floating.

You took a deep breath and turned into a bunch of petals once again that scattered in the wind as you floated up high to not look suspicious, and also not as noticeable.

From the distance, you noticed a demon that looked like a... Hawk? Well, whatever, he had wings and a beak. He pointed a what seemed to be a semi gun(Semi-auto shotgun) at the snake demon that you're following.

You didn't let him shoot as you threw a petal at him that you turned glass like as it whizzed past him which made him turn his head in alarm.

He looked around confused but when he turned his head back to the snake demon's direction, he was already gone from his sight.

I kept following the snake demon until I got tired from taking this form so I went down, away from him to rest.

I huffed as I wiped a sweat off of my head as I sat on the roof of what seemed to be a hotel.

Scattering yourself to hundred pieces for a long time is quite a workout so I just sat there resting.

A few minutes went by and I actually saw him go around a corner. Curious, you floated up to investigate.

You followed him from the sky go to a dark alley and when you try and search for him, he was gone.

You were confused. Where did he just go? You thought as you looked around for him, trying to feel your tracking pollens and got even more confused as you found them underground.

"Okay, what..?" You questioned yourself quietly.

"Dear, what are you doing here?" You heard the all familiar voice of the deer radio demon as you looked down.

He was standing on the building right beside you with his signature grin and his other arm behind his back while the other holds his radio microphone cane.

Your confused mischievous grin turned into a happy smile as you went to greet and hug your friend.

"I was following someone! I couldn't choose whether to kill them or befriend them at first, but they looked and acted quite intriguing! And so I finally decided to be their friend and followed them!" You explained as you released your quick hug.

"I see. I knew that that was you when I smelled that floral scent of yours!" He chuckled.

You only puffed your cheeks as he patted your head.

"Well, tell me more about this said demon once we're home, is that alright for you little fawn?" He asked politely as he called you by your nickname he made.

"Mhmm! Sure!" You nodded your head.

And off you two go as you guys went around the city just to hang out and have some fun.
