Chapter 13

Your POV

"Hey" I turned around and saw none other than the snake demon, Sir Pentious himself.

"Oh! Uhh hi!" I grinned at him slightly.

"What are you doing here?" He asked sitting beside me wincing slightly.

"Oh y'know, getting out of the commotion and chaos and all that crap. The usual." I shrugged.

"Anywho, how's your shoulder and side?" I asked tilting my head a little.

"Sssore.." He mumbled as he flicked his tongue.

I giggled at this.

"Wait, aren't you the one that patched me up in the first place? Cause if you don't mind, I would need your assistance in replacing these bandages as those fools can't do anything right." He hissed slightly blushing in embarrassment.

I merely smiled and nodded.

"Sure! Anything for a friend!"

"Though you should give them credits for trying and worrying, you're basically their father." I remarked as I remembered Sunny telling me how he was created by this demon beside me.

"Wench, you can't tell me what to do!" He hissed at me.

"Man, so not cool. Plus, I just did." I smirked at him leaning my head over the palm of my hand.

He looked at me incredulously almost making me laugh but I managed to keep it in.

"I'll show you cool!" And with that, he dragged me to who knows where.

I rolled my eyes at his try hard characteristics but smiled nonetheless since I find it cute and amusing at the same time.

"Uhh where exactly are we going?" I asked.

"To the 'casino' where the cool demons hang around" he responded.

Interested, I let him to continue dragging me.

Ten minutes later, I stood in front of an arcade.

I didn't know what to feel at first. I was confused? Excited? Happy? I don't even know.

I looked at my dragger and saw his proud face makin me wanna go 'awww' but decided against it.

I mean, it has been a while since I went to an arcade.

"Sssso? What do you think?" He asked proudly.

"Looks cool. Wanna go in?" I asked him smiling excitedly.

I wonder what's new in there. Its been decades.

"Why of course! I didn't drag you all the way here just to look at it" he rolled his eyes and went in first with me following suit.

I looked around and saw demons that looked to be in their teen age years playing around with new machines.

I slightly bumped into a short white wolf looking demon with a lot of spots and a spiked collar on and apologized.

"Yea yea whatev." She replied.

I shrugged and continued looking around before catching up with Pentious.

"So.... What do you wanna do first?" I asked turning towards him floating down to the ground to just stand.

"Hmm... No clue. There's too many things." He shrugged.

I now saw how tall he is compared to me.

His lanky figure towers me for at least a foot and a half.

I looked around one more time and spotted those claw machine things and flew towards it.

I looked at the plushies inside to see if I wanted any of them.

Alright, there's a lion that looks like a flower because of its mane, a bat with an upside down heart for a nose, a dog that looks like a corgi, a big fluffy die with a face, a pink pig, a fluffy black sheep, and lastly, a cute black python plush with a small top hat on, coiled around a small boquet of F/c sewn flowers.

My eyes lit up and I went to put in a coin that I have in my purse that I took behind me.

I tilted the joystick towards it and pressed the button as it clung onto the plushy but it fell making me huff.

I felt someone approaching me from behind but I was too busy and focused on wasting my money from trying to get the stupid cute plushy from the possible rigged machine.

I sighed sadly as its been my forth trial and I'm starting to get frustrated and lose hope.

"May I?" I heard Pentious say from behind as he crouched down to play and put a coin in.

I merely watched as I let him play.

He pushed the button as the claw slowly went down and somehow managed to tangle into the flowers’ fabric stem.

My eyes widened in awe as the plush dropped down and he went to get it.

He looked at it first before giving it to me.

"Why that?" He asked curiously with a hint of smug as he looked at my awed face.

I shook my head and reached out to get it smiling widely and hugging it.

"Thank you! Also, because the timing was perfect for me to remember what we did today!" You happily smiled at him.

You saw a hint of pink on his cheeks before he cleared his throat.

"Right, you are so cheesy.." He said looking at his side but you can still see his amused expression.

"Lets go see what else they have in here!" And with that, it was your turn to drag him around.
