Chapter 26

A little black haired girl followed her best friend in the field of Lily of the valley, squealing as they played tag.

The girl caught up to the small boy with brown hair who have the biggest smile on his face.

"Tag! You're it!" The little girl giggled as she ran away, him following close by.

The two played until sunset, the breeze making the field of flowers dance.

The two sat down under a tree to rest as they watched the setting sun.

"Did you know these lilies are so poisonous, they could kill a human in only a few hours?" The little girl suddenly blurted out, remembering her grandmother's advice about the flowers.

"So.. we've been playing in a field of poison all these time?" The little boy asked.

The two looked at each other in silence before shrugging it off and giggling at each other's faces for some reason.

Your PoV

You woke up with a smile, feeling like it's Halloween/Christmas all over again as you're in quite a good mood.

You did all your morning routine and watered the plants before going in Al's home by phasing in through the wooden wall, finding him asleep on his room.

You then took the opportunity to set up a trap as a prank, and by that, you mean a small table on top of his head, looking at his alarm, you grinned and headed towards his office/library to maybe go read a book.

You found an interesting book and sat on his chair.

An hour later, you heard the alarm ring and a thud, a small 'ow!' following it.

You snickered quietly waiting for his confusion to go until you heard your que.

"(Y/NNNNNNNNNNNN)!!!!!!!" and with that you cackled loudly before hearing quick footsteps heading towards you and so you flew out the wall once again, still laughing your ass off.

You finally calmed down after a few minutes, still floating in the air until you felt the air quickly shift behind you as a bullet whizzed past you.

You quickly scattered into petals in the air and looked for the culprit. A skeleton demon wearing a cowboy hat showed up from the dark before huffing.

You snuck behind him and reappeared, your vines spreading out, ready to grab prey.

The demon turned around before stumbling backwards in shock, his eye sockets seems to go wide as he realized who he had tried to shoot down.

You grinned down at him, your eyes glowing as a shadow was casted in your face making everything about you look eerie.

"Another fertilizer and a hat to add to my collection~" you giggled as he tried to back away, only to have a vine wrapped around his leg.

He reached for his shotgun but got pulled back and thrown into the air like a ragdoll.

You dismantled his body and held his head with your hands as he gave you a terrified look.

"How should I kill you.. hmm~?" You thought as you stared at his teary sockets.

"Oh I know! Your skull would look beautiful as a flower pot for my hanging plants!" You cheered as he started screaming in pain.

The top of his skull started to crack as pigmy roses started to grow out, his eye sockets getting filled with the said flower and crawled out along with the roots, down to his jaw.

You went home with your new 'flower pot' and searched for crystals in your drawer before adding them in to your new item and hanged it on a branch using a vine.

You took his hat that you've been holding onto with your vines and wore it.

You threw his weapons on your weapons chest along with the cool set of clothes as you took the bones down by the base of your tree.

A root slowly lifted itself off the ground revealing a little underground cave filled with rotting corpses and bones as roots of many plants and trees connected to them. You threw the bones in and backed off as the root of your tree went back down on the dirt floor.

You flew towards the city to go on the café.
