Chapter 21

Your POV

You arrived back home safely, earlier than Iris' set time on going home and plopped on your bed as your body focused on healing and regenerating your injury.

You woke up to loud snores realizing that a certain roommate came back from work, obviously tired.

You annoyedly tried to ignore the jurassical noise that the green armless lizard thing's creating and went back to sleep.

Its 3:30 am and you got up from your bed of soft cotton and petals and went to your garden and rooted yourself on the ground under a willow tree with your vines as tiny brown roots that faded to red and green slowly crawled up and tangled itself on your rooted vines as you sat there quietly before falling asleep sitting as the dangling leaves covered you from outside making your healing boost as safe as possible.

Now noon, you woke up feeling much better and your vines isn't as limp before but your back still kinda aches.

Already getting bored, you decided to go visit Pentious wanting to PROPERLY thank him this time.

You unrooted yourself from the ground as the tiny roots slowly disappeared back to the ground and flew around the city checking if he's out somewhere, seein nothin, you flew towards the entrance and approached it thinking of how to get in and visit him..

That's until the wall doors open on their own causing you to jump in surprise, confusion, and more surprise.

You calmed down and poked your head in first, looking around if an eggboi is out there but you sensed no heat or any movements since you can't see in the dark.

You completely went in before the door closed behind you making you jerk your head back towards it and approached it once again.

It opened the moment you got face to face with it and you merely looked at it in confusion before shrugging and going back in towards the tunnel.

You reached the end of it and the door opened upon your arrival.

You stepped out and watched it as it closed behind you.

Shrugging it off once again, you headed towards his house and knocked having an eggboi open it, smiling at you in happiness.

"It's Ms. (Y/n)! Come in!" He happily exclaimed.

"Oh uh, hello. Is Sir Pentious busy?" You asked a little shyly since you just came unannounced.

"Hmm.. I don't think so! Lemme go and tell him! He's probably in that machine room thing of his" he said before running towards that said room.

Out in the corner, you noticed an eggboi peeking around by the couch and when he noticed you looking at him, he quietly squeaked and hid behind the couch.

You approached the little seedling and crouched down before softly calling out hopin you wouldn't scare them away.

"Hello, why are you hiding little angel?" You asked.

He slightly peeked his pointy oval head around and looked at you shyly before quietly replying

"I-I didn't t-thought that y-yo-you'd see me.." He looked down slightly blushing in embarrassment.

"What's your name dear?" You softly asked tilting your head giving him a small patient smile.

"#457..." He mumbled.

You softly picked him up making him slightly jump and flinch at the action and hugged him, nuzzling your cheeks on his.

"I said name, not number. If you don't have one, I'll give you one! How abooouutt..." You said thoughtfully looking at him and examining his bashful personality showing through the blush on his cheeks.

"Oh I know! I'll call you-"
