The phone rang three times before Hoseok picked up.

"Yoongles~ my favourite friend~" Hoseok sang into the phone with a chuckle at the end as a 'Excuse me' could be heard in the back ground.

"Hiya Hobi, I know today's like a none work day but I was wondering if I could ask you something?"

Yoongi wasn't really sure what he was going to ask but he may as well say something.

Hoseok being the supportive, encouraging sunshine he is cheerfully said "Ask away." Leaving the line open for Yoongi to ask whatever he wanted.

And he had to admit, he was curious.

It wasn't everyday he got a phone call from Yoongi specifically to ask about something.

He normally had all that stuff figured out.

"I was wondering if you knew... anything about adopting an animal?" Yoongi asked realising it sounded dumb instantly since he worked at a rescue centre but decided to not correct himself and just wait.

Hoseok hummed into the phone for a moment sounding slightly surprised before replying "You want to adopt?" Which led to Yoongi humming this time.

Hoseok hummed again as he thought for a moment, with a low continuous sound until he finally thought of a few questions to ask Yoongi first.

"Okay Yoongles, I'm going to ask you a few questions okay? You just need to answer them so let's take it in turns." Hoseok said getting a nod from Yoongi who then realised he couldn't be seen so said "Okay."

"Why do you want a pet?"

"Because I want to help the animal out a little and take care of it and give it a good home and somewhere it can feel safe and happy and protected from things like the weather."

"Do you think your decision will still be the same when the storms over?"

"Yeah because I've thought about this before. Plus animals are good for your mental health right and well we both know how lonely apartments can get out here in Seoul."

"We do... so this isn't just spur of the moment 'I'm Min Yoongi and I want to be a good person and save a animal' is it?" Hoseok said making sure to make his voice sound lower but more nasal when he did his really bad Yoongi impression.

Yoongi rolled his eyes at it and answered "No and that's also not what I sound like."

"Yes you do." Cans from the background and Yoongi was final able to put a name to the voice he was hearing very far off in the distance.

"Hobi please tell Joonie to shut up or I'm going to stab him with my spork."

"Oki, Nam- Okay Okay. He said he heard you and that- ajshsanx." Hoseok was cut off for a moment and a small fight could be heard from the phone until a clear "Fine I won't say it." Was heard coming from Hoseok.

"Tell Namjoon not to doubt me and the spork like he said and any more questions before my turn again?"

"Wow are you a psychic hyung~ that's amazing I didn't even tell you. And I have one more question, would you want to help a hurt being like a rescue or a typical one? Oh and does it matter what species it is?"

"Firstly that's two questions and I'd like to take in a rescue if possible because I know how to be around them and they are also less desirable for some reason over other animals even though they are still the same bundles of joy see within even if their scared or aggressive."

Yoongi then realised after stopping that he didn't answer the second question so quickly said "And species has to be like a house animal otherwise I can't have it."

Hoseok nodded on the other side of the line and Yoongi could hear some quiet whispering from what he assumed was a conversation between Namjoon and Hoseok.

He heard two quiet "Okay's" Before Hoseok cleared his throat and said "You should check out this site called Furry friends. You can adopt animals with really good files of information and records available but the only issue is you can't see them so it's based on mental connection."

Yoongi thought for a moment before asking "Can you send me a link please?" And Hoseok replied "Gladly." Doing so before they had to say goodbye since Hoseok had a meeting with Namjoon and someone else booked.

Yoongi went on to the internet and began his search.
