Part 49: Sand Castle

"Let's build a sand castle!" Yoongi said sounding like an excited child which caused Jimin to laugh enjoying seeing this side of Yoongi.

Yoongi had brought a bunch of stuff so Jimin just let him be as he did what he needed to do to eat set up.

He pulled out some buckets and spades for both of them to use before explaining the basics to Jimin.

By the end of the explanation Jimin was just as excited as Yoongi to build a castle so they both got to work, working together to make the best thing they possible could.

Yoongi did the majority of the scooping and Jimin did the placement using his math skills to make sure it was well placed and stable making Yoongi think about what a good architect Jimin would be.

The build a three floor castle with a moat around it for defence (no water of course.)

And the decorated the outside with shells which Jimin gathered.

Jimin jumped when something started to crawl out from one of the shells he picked up causing Yoongi to chuckle and place it on top of their castle saying "This can be Mr Hermit crabs castle."

Jimin's hands was on his heart because he genuinely got scared by it but he just nodded since Yoongi looked happy and fine with it meaning it was probably safe.

"Mr Hermit crab? Is that like those crab things you told me about which are in food?" Jimin asked once he regained composure getting a sure nod from Yoongi.

They carried on until they deemed it well build and Yoongi made sure to get lots of pictures of the process.

They kept playing in the sand for a little while until Yoongi decided he wanted to take Jimin along the pier where there was an amusement park set up.

He had a list of goals for the day and to get Jimin on a ride was one of them.

Jimin didn't ask any questions as he mentally thanked Yoongi from taking him away from the water up until he realised they were just walking up closer to the stairs which took them to pier which went over the water.

To put it bluntly he was terrified but hid it well from anyone who saw him, instead looking like he was being overly clingy to his 'friend' earning him a few funny looks which he was to preoccupied to notice.

Yoongi however did notice and made sure to shoot his most threatening glare at anyone who looked at them the wrong way.

After a while of walking Yoongi brought Jimin to a carousel and handed money over to the conductor who just looked excited that someone as actually going on the old ride.

Yoongi brought Jimin up with him and lifted the small boy onto one of the horse.

Jimin was obviously confused which Yoongi noticed as he tied the really crappy belt around him which was there for health and safety so explained "This is a ride, it'll be fun. I used to go on this all the time growing up, just hold on and try not to freak out. Okay Kitten?"

Jimin blushed slightly at the name and nodded earning him a kiss on the side of his head from Yoongi before the other boy climbed onto the horse next to him.

Yoongi gave the instructor a thumbs up so he started it up with a small smile as he watched the two boys on the ride.

Jimin jumped when the ride started to move and clung onto the pole for dear life causing Yoongi to chuckle before saying "It's okay, it's meant to move. It'll go faster slowly."

Jimin felt like jumping off right then and there but didn't when he saw the gummy smile on Yoongi's face.

He was having fun.

Jimin decided to just close his eyes until he got used to it, slowly but surely getting more comfortable as a small smile started to creep onto his lips.

"See it's not that bad is it chim?" Yoongi asked watching the hybrid boy who was slightly in front of him start to giggle.

Jimin shook his head and sat up properly, looking slightly behind him so he could see Yoongi properly before giving him eye smile that made his eyes form crescents.

They went on it a few times and slowly but surely more people started to get on it since the two boys were having so much fun and eventually it was like Yoongi's memories of the place.

He admitted everything had changed quiet a bit when they pulled up but he had hope when he finally saw the ride he was looking for.

Now a long with the boys were families and teenagers all riding on it having fun.

The area around the ride got more people and after there sixth go Yoongi and Jimin both got off to go get some ice cream.

They spent the rest of the day time on the pier waiting for the evening to come with Jimin completely forgetting his fears.
