Part 34: Jealousy

Luckily for Yoongi, Jimin warmer up to Jungkook pretty quickly so by the time everyone had arrived the two were comfortable around each other.

Similarly Taehyung and Yoongi managed to get comfortable around each other too since Taehyung had a bubbly personality which pulled Yoongi out of his slightly distant shell.

Everything was going great even after everyone else had arrived but Yoongi couldn't help but feel something.

Little things happening around him involving a certain someone didn't settle very well with him and he felt a specific feeling which he couldn't name.

Maybe he was just being overprotective or maybe it was something else but either way he definitely felt something.

Both the hybrids were excitedly telling stories to each other about their experiences outside of the lab and everyone listened in contently as Yoongi buried the emotion he was feeling deep down.

"Then Kookie pulled out this gun from no where and started shooting me with water until I agreed to have a bath!" Taehyung shouted causing Jimin to chuckle at his friends dramatic story telling.

He knew that Taehyung loved bath time so he didn't get why he was being so extra about it but that was just his best friend and he loved that feature about him.

"To be fair Tae you were being a pain." Jungkook defended holding his hands up causing the hybrid boy to pout and hug Jimin closer to him.

"See Chim! He's so mean to me." Taehyung said burying his head in the laughing kittens back.

Once Jimin stopped laughing at his friend he turned to Jungkook and said "If he's not listening threaten to not give him hugs and he'll listen."

This caused Jungkook to sigh dramatically this time and throw himself back with his bunny smile present yet again as he commented "But that's a punishment for me too."

Everyone made Oooooooo sounds except for Yoongi who couldn't managed to stop staring at the arms tightly securing his... house mate? Friend? Into the others lap and not in his own.

He knew it was friendly and him, Namjoon and Hoseok acted like that sometimes too but for some reason the small act couldn't help but rile something up in Yoongi.

But he kept it contained.

"Then boop his snoot." Jin said chuckling and sipping on his tea.

Everyone turned to look at him confused except for Jimin who just chuckled quietly.

Nobody said anything as they waited for an explanation so Jin said "It makes him stop what he's doing and giggle. Jimin told me it's how he always won tickle fights when they got bored."

With this information they all turned back to the two hybrids boys, one of which was smiling smugly and the other looking betrayed.

"So all of those times... I could've won..." Taehyung said with a look of pure sadness in his eyes.

"Technically no but... you like your nose being booped." Jimin said trying to cheer up the boy and booped his nose with a high pitch "Boop!"

Taehyung giggled and cuddled up close to him saying "All is forgiven."

Jimin let him since he was a sucker for affection but a part of him felt guilty... like he was neglecting thing... or someone...

Jin spoke before silence began to build up asking "How's things been going with these two adorable rascals?" To Yoongi and Jungkook who stared blankly at Jin for a moment before answering.

Both realising that Namjoon and Hoseok probably weren't fully up to date unlike SeokJin who asked for daily updates and spoke with the hybrids every other day at least on the phone, even if only brief.

Jin was a patently figure for both hybrids as he and Hoseok were for Jungkook, Namjoon and Yoongi being the cool older brother who he admires.

Jin's caring nature really did show the most when it was around the six other boys.

Jungkook decided to answer first not liking how silent it got and knowing that Taehyung would probably interpret as a bad thing even though it wasn't.

"Tae's been great. He tries to help out with everything even if he doesn't know what he's doing 99% of the time but that doesn't stop him... even if you insist... he still keeps going and breaks another broom stick saying that's how Namjoon hyung taught me to clean..."

Taehyung chuckled innocently and gave Jungkook and Namjoon a boxy smile as Jimin tried not to laugh at his best friends mischief.

"And Jimin?" Hoseok asked looking to Yoongi before Jin started to interrogate his boyfriend about what he'd been teaching the hybrids.

Yoongi looked at the innocent kitten before turning back and answering "He's been really well behaved and is making good progress. He's been out the house to go to the store with me once and has successfully had a bath even though it was kinda hard. He's polite and patient and I can't really ask for anything else."

He wanted to add on a bit more about how he makes him feel more confident with the little compliments and how he gives him cuddles with no questions asked making him feel better but for some reason he decided it would be best not to as just the brief thought of those things made that feeling get worse.

It only emphasised when he looked back over to Jimin and Taehyung who were both goofily smiling.

He knew what him and Jungkook had said probably was what was making them smile but apart of him couldn't help but feel...
