Part 48: Beach

Jimin looked straight forward and he didn't know where they were or why there was so much water or why they were there but he choose not to question it as he sat there looking down quietly suddenly feeling slightly scared.

Yoongi noticed so back hugged him and whispered "This was one of my favourite places to come when I was growing up and I have lots of happy memories here. It's the place where I used to come on holiday and had some of the happiest times with my family and where I got over my fears of many things. I wanted to bring you here on our first date so maybe you can learn more about me and I can learn more about you. And maybe we can even conquer your fear of water."

Jimin quickly grew flustered because of Yoongi's words so he couldn't be mad that he was brought to his biggest fear because in reality it was sweet and really romantic and meaningful which he appreciated.

He nodded slightly moving his head to the side so Yoongi could rest his head on his shoulder as he stared out at the water.

Yoongi held onto Jimin's hands and brought one up to his lips asking "Are you going to be okay?" As he kissed each individual knuckle.

Jimin took in a long breath, feeling chills run down his spine at how affectionate Yoongi was being, before nodding his head and saying "I'll be good."

Yoongi smiled and kissed Jimin's cheek before pulling away and moving so he could sit next to his... significant other?

"If there's any questions you have ask away and I'll answer." Yoongi said moving one of Jimin's hands into his lap so he could play with it since he was feeling more nervous than Jimin probably was about his risky date plan.

Jimin thought for a moment before saying "About anything?" Which Yoongi replied "Anything." As an answer to it.

"Okay then... what's this stuff since it doesn't look like salt?" Jimin asked point down to the floor beneath them causing Yoongi to chuckle slightly since that was his question of all things.

"That's sand Minnie. We're at a beach." Yoongi said with a small smile as Jimin looked at him confused.

"Isn't that an insult? Seokjin hyung said it was to me and Taehyung." Jimin said tilting his head causing Yoongi too look at him confused.

"Beach?"

"Yeah, bitch?"

Yoongi's eyes widened when he realised what Jimin just said since it took a moment and he quickly said "No no no. A beach is a place. A bitch is an insult or the name of a female dog. The difference is the sound ea and it. You shouldn't say bitch sweetie your to pure and cute to say such words."

Jimin looked like he was about to cry when he apologised so Yoongi quickly kissed his cheek and said it was okay because it wasn't meant badly.

Yoongi face palmed at how their date was going so decided to change topic too a different question asking "Do you want to know what a beach is?"

Jimin nodded and asked "Isn't it a place?" Since Yoongi just told him so but Yoongi choose to get into more detail.

"A beach is connected to the ocean or sea which is lots of water which lots of animals live in, some of which are in your favourite food. Beaches normally have sand because of stuff you'll learn about in science with Namjoonie and there where lots of people go to take holidays or go on dates." Yoongi said getting a small nod from Jimin who's eyebrows were furrowed together.

Jimin then asked "So you've been on dates here before?" Which Yoongi quickly shook his head to with a slight brush as he said "Your my first." Which made Jimin feel a small sense of pride.

"So you've been on holiday?" Jimin then asked which Yoongi nodded too and said "With my family and school and family friends over the years and hopefully some day you for more than a day."

Jimin smiled at the last bit and carried on with his questions about the beach until he felt like he knew enough so moved on to questions about Yoongi.

"What did you used to do on your holidays?"

"We used to play in the ocean and build sandcastles in the sand and have dinner on the wall. We'd also go for a walk down the pier and sometimes I'd go fishing with my dad and we'd always get funny looks because we were doing it wrong." Yoongi said with a reminiscent smile which caused Jimin to smile too.

"Did you go on other holidays?"

"All sorts. We went skiing in Canada. We went on cruises all over the place. We'd go to the country side for the holidays just as a nice get away and too see my grand parents. We'd go to tourist spots. We even went camping from time to time. It was always really fun though no matter what we did because we were together." Yoongi said holding onto Jimin's hand slightly together.

Jimin smiled and looked down shyly saying "I always have fun when I'm with you so that must mean everydays like a holiday..."

Yoongi would've busted a uwu if he hadn't already busted all the uwu's he had.

"No matter where I am as long as your there I'm happy." Yoongi replied causing Jimin to blush slightly.

They both sat there enjoying each other's company and talking a bit more until Yoongi finally stood up, pulling Jimin up with him confusing the boy.

"Let's go have some fun Jiminie!"
