Part 45: Love

"I'm not letting go of you Jiminie... Tell me what's wrong so I can fix it..." Yoongi whispered resting his head on Jimin's.

Jimin froze for a second before he started crying.

No words left his lips as he started to sob into Yoongi's chest feeling overwhelmed by all of his emotions.

Yoongi decided to say 'fuck it' to his distance plan because Jimin needed him and he knew Jimin well enough to know being there helped.

Jimin slowly wrapped his arms around Yoongi's waist and buried his face in his chest getting all the comfort he could incase this was the last time.

He had no idea how his Jin Hyung thought he could confront Yoongi in the first place let alone now.

Yoongi kissed Jimin's head lightly and whispered softly words of comfort in his ear.

Jimin slowly began falling in Yoongi's arms so Yoongi slid down with him so that they could both sit on the floor comfortably but he could still be with Jimin.

Jimin ended up sat in Yoongi's lap with his legs wrapped around his waist and head buried in the crook of Yoongi's neck as he carried on crying.

His hands were clinging onto Yoongi's shirt and Yoongi was rubbing circles into the small of Jimin's back and playing with his hair until Jimin's crying calmed down a little.

After a while of sitting in darkness Yoongi quietly asked "Can you tell me what's wrong Jiminie?" slightly tightening his hold on Jimin not sure if he was ready to let go to resolve the issue.

To Yoongi's delight and misery Jimin pulled away slightly nodding his head with tears still escaping his eyes which Yoongi quickly caught wiping it away with his thumb.

"I-I just missed you a-a lot." Jimin admitted as he slightly pulled away so he could hide his face behind his hands.

Yoongi was slightly confused so tilted his head as he took Jimin's hand in his own so he couldn't hide his face.

Jimin felt like he needed to explain further so did saying "Y-you've just been so... so distant and it's been really l-lonely even though you've still been here b-b-but you haven't been here and I don't know why or if I've done anything wrong-"

Yoongi cut Jimin off by pulling him into a tight hug as guilt took over him.

He didn't think it would so noticeable or that it would affect Jimin so much and now he knew he felt like crap.

"I'm so so sorry Jiminie. You've done nothing wrong it's just hyung is being hyung aka a idiot." Yoongi quickly said hugging Jimin tightly.

Jimin was confused this time so Yoongi took that as his chance to explain.

"I didn't want you to get hurt so I distanced myself thinking it wouldn't hurt you if I did it now rather than later." Yoongi said this time a bit slower rather than rushing it.

Jimin was still confused so asked "What do you mean hurt me?" In a weak and quiet voice.

Yoongi looked into Jimin's eyes as he sighed slightly.

Everything felt like it was going so fast when related to Jimin except for distancing himself and he didn't want to own up to why but he felt like Jimin deserved a explanation.

So he explained.

"I'm telling you this because I love you... I love you. I stopped being so close because I didn't want to hurt you and I guess I didn't want to get hurt either... I didn't want my feelings to ruin... well us... and well what I'm trying to say Jiminie is I got distant because I'm a wimp and I didn't want to admit that I love you or than I was scared to get hurt. Your so fucking precious to me Jiminie even though it's been such a short time and well... yeah... I'm sorry..."

By the end of it Yoongi had teary eyes and he had more he wanted to say but he didn't have the words for it.

Jimin just looked back at him in surprise before centrally mumbling "So it wasn't a dream..." since he'd been unsure for over a month and almost convinced himself it was.

Yoongi was confused but his mind quickly went blank when Jimin cupped his face and pecked his nose.

Jimin quickly moved back and hid his red face as Yoongi stared at him speechless.

He didn't expect Jimin to react with any form of affection but he did and he kissed his nose.

It was such a Jimin thing to do.

Yoongi looked wide eyed at him and Jimin was hiding his crescent eye smile as he giggled before saying "I love you too hyung so please don't be distant."

Yoongi wouldn't have believed Jimin if he didn't raise his hand to his heart but he did and when he did he felt just how fast Jimin's heart was beating.

"You make my heart do weird things hyung you made it beat fast but then you made it hurt a lot." Jimin said looking away slightly sadly.

Yoongi instantly reacted by lifting Jimin's hand and bring it to his lips as he kissed each finger before apologising.

"I'm so sorry Jiminie I promise I'll never make you heart hurt again." Being all he could muster other than "Can you forgive me?" Which left him more speechless when Jimin began to hum as he thought.

Jimin eventually said "On one condition." Which made Yoongi extremely nervous but he still said "Anything."

"Will you please not buy another bed." Jimin asked innocently and it made Yoongi's heart melt so he kissed the top of his head and said "Of course."

"Well if it's that easy can we cuddle all day too please?" Jimin asked with his tail swaying more since he was getting excited.

Yoongi chuckled correcting "That's two conditions but I'll let it slip since all you had to do was ask in the first place."

Jimin cheered and clung onto Yoongi more who just lifted him and took him to the living room where they spent the rest of the day as close together as they could.

There was still so much more that needed talking about but it could wait.
