Part 37: Cheesy Romance

Yoongi had been working all morning leaving Jimin in the living room watching whatever he wanted on the TV since he was busy, only setting one rule of no horror films.

Yoongi didn't realise it was dinner time until Jin texted him to make sure that him and Jimin and had eaten which made him realise he should probably take a break.

He got up leaving everything scattered in a circle on the bed and made his way to the living room to see what Jimin wanted but paused when he heard a squeal come from under the blankets on the couch.

Yoongi moved closer but remained silent, curious as to what Jimin was watching and had to cover his mouth to stop himself from laughing.

Jimin was fully immersed in the film he was watching, dramatically reacting to what was happening on the screen and squealing whenever there was a small amount of affection.

The scene was obviously building to something so Yoongi waited to ask Jimin what he wanted rather than ruin the film right at the climax.

He might have also been enjoying watching Jimin's cute reactions but he wasn't sure if he was going to admit it.

Just like any other cliche romance, the two main characters said that they loved each other and kissed causing Jimin to launch himself off the couch, onto the floor rolling around with his squeals muffled by the blanket he was in.

Yoongi couldn't help the gummy smile which crept on his face at Jimin's cuteness and being the kind hyung he is he paused the film for Jimin who hadn't even realised since he was still fanboying under the blanket repeatedly saying "My ship has sailed!"

Yoongi didn't know where Jimin learned about ships but he assumed it was probably SeokJin or Hoseok.

Jimin threw himself up, still tangled in the blanket, and ended up falling back on his butt causing him to pause from his flailing as he tried to get his head out from under the blanket.

Yoongi just saw a small bit of Jimin's hair pop up then his head and he couldn't help but laugh when Jimin mindlessly mouth popped as he appeared.

Jimin quickly turned and his face started to go red from embarrassment of being caught which only made Yoongi start to coo.

Yoongi quickly regained his composure when he nearly ended up falling from laughing to hard then he went around the couch and sat on it next to Jimin who was still on the floor.

Yoongi sighed one last time to stop himself from laughing as he ruffled Jimin's hair saying "Cute." quietly as he did so.

Jimin covered his now even redder face and Yoongi swooped him up off the floor and into his lap causing Jimin to lean into his chest and hide his face that way since his embarrassment was only growing.

Yoongi rested his chin on Jimin's head and rubbed circles on Jimin's back as he chuckled lowly at the cute boy in his lap.

Jimin was still being shy after around five minutes so Yoongi decided he'd look at the films description and smiled as he read it.

"So you like cheesy romances hm?" Yoongi asked moving so he could see Jimin better even though the boy kept his head firmly on Yoongi's chest.

Jimin nodded slightly causing Yoongi to take a mental note.

Why was he choosing to take a mental note nobody knows, not even him, but now he couldn't help but try and figure out why.

As Yoongi found himself lost in thought Jimin couldn't help but think of the similarities between his and Yoongi's relationship and the one in the film...

Maybe him and Yoongi could be like that and have their own cheesy romance one day?
