Part 36: Swimming shorts

Yoongi woke up first so got out of bed deciding he'd take a quick shower since he needed one.

By the time he went back to his room Jimin was awake and trying to lick himself clean.

'At least he knows he needs a bath' was the only thing Yoongi thought as he came back.

He decided not to get fully dressed when he had his shower since he knew he was going to make Jimin have a bath again and he accepted that meant he might get a little wet either cleaning up after or making him get in so he put swimming trunks on.

Jimin didn't noticed Yoongi enter the room because he was too focused on rubbing his face on his hand so obviously he jumped when a cough came from behind him causing him to fall out of bed, luckily to be caught by Yoongi.

"Sorry about that." Yoongi said knowing he was the cause before putting Jimin back down safely.

"It's okay- hyung your hair-"

"It's wet. I had a shower when I woke up now it's your turn. The baths been made so now you just need to get in it." Yoongi said deciding to be direct would be the easiest option.

"No thank you?" Jimin said unsurely since he wasn't too sure if it was an option or not but if not it was well worth potentially embarrassing himself to get out of it.

Unfortunately for him he didn't have an option.

"Come in Jiminie. Let's go before it gets cold."

Jimin didn't want to go and all o. His fears began to fill his mind as Yoongi pulled him up since he wasn't moving.

'Baths are scary'

'There's underwater monsters'

'It makes you look older'

'Your sitting in your own filth'

'You might drown-'

Jimin was snapped out of his thought when he heard a swoop of water in front of him.

Yoongi commented "not to hot, not to cold." Before turning he the younger boy who looked terrified.

Jimin didn't move, he don't want to move, think or blink because that would just lead him to having to accept his reality.

He was going to have to have a bath.

He really didn't want to a felt a tear trickle down his face which Yoongi quickly wiped, slightly panicked, as he pulled him into a hug.

"It'll be fine Jiminie I'll be outside-"

"Please don't make me do it or if I have to please stay with me!" Jimin yelled hugging onto Yoongi tightly after interrupting him.

He didn't want to be alone.

Yoongi still didn't really want to be alone either.

It wasn't like he wasn't prepared.

Yoongi places his larger hands on Jimin's as he let out a reluctant sigh causing slight hope to build up in Jimin but he still didn't loosen his hold.

"...Okay, as long as you have a bath I don't mind but you have to clean yourself properly this time. I'll keep my eyes closed when you do." Yoongi said calmly to try and make Jimin relaxed and it worked.

Jimin still held on but all the tension in his body left because as long as his Yoongi hyung was there he'd be fine.

Yoongi waddled over to the bath tub with Jimin and helped him take the shirt off since Jimin had just slipped it on like a T-shirt the night before because he still couldn't get his head wrapped around the idea of buttons.

After that Yoongi stepped back and said "Take your boxers off then get into the water. I won't look." Then turning around.

Yoongi knew it might take a while so sat down on the toilet seat so he wasn't standing around.

He heard walking back and forth and slightly panicked breathing so he softly said "It's okay, I'm here. The water won't hurt you."

This calmed Jimin down a little but he still couldn't bare the thought that he had to actually go into the water, naked.

He wiggled his underwear down before taking in a deep breath and scrunching up his eyes, blindly stepping one foot into the bathtub and freezing.

"Hyunggggggg I don't wannaaaa~" Jimin cried stepping out again quickly as he went for his underwear.

He basically ran for the item of clothing but ended up slipping since one of his feet were wet making the floor slippy.

All Yoongi heard was Jimin complain, water moving, small sounds of footsteps then THUMP.

Yoongi didn't think twice about turning around and rushing over to the boy asking "Are you okay?!" Slightly shocked by the boys clumsiness.

Jimin curled up in a ball, holding his legs close to him as he cried "That hurttttt~"

Yoongi grabbed a towel quickly since Jimin was naked and wrapped him up in it as he pulled the curled up kitten into his lap, rubbing circles into his back.

"Hey your okay, your such a clumsy fella aren't ya?" Yoongi said softly carrying on the action until Jimin had calmed down.

Jimin huffed and crossed his arms as a deeper frown spread across his already pouty lips before complaining "I hate baths."

Yoongi almost answered and baths hate you but managed to stop himself and just hugged Jimin closer to him.

"Do you need help climbing inside?" Yoongi asked softly and Jimin just complained about not wanting to go in so they compromised.

"So if I go in the bath with you you'll stay in it until I say your good to go without complaining?"

"Mmmm... yeah."

"You have yourself a deal Jiminie."

And so that's what happened.

Yoongi went in first but kept his eyes shut since Jimin wasn't wearing any bottoms unlike him and then Jimin climbed into the bath sitting in between Yoongi's legs.

Yoongi wasn't particularly bothered by the fact Jimin was naked since he walked around in basically boxers and a shirt but he sill looked away to give Jimin privacy.

The bath was reasonably peaceful with Jimin's whimpers being a lot less frequent than the time before, even when Yoongi played with his hair.

Yoongi helped Jimin wash his top half and Jimin did his bottom to avoid awkwardness and they both climbed out of the bath afterwards.

Yoongi was proud of Jimin so let him wear whatever he wanted from the closet, including jewellery, and then ordered Jimin's favourite takeaway.

After that they just cuddled and chilled.
