Part 22: Pants

"Jimin!" Yoongi called out from the bedroom to the cat hybrid who was lay on the couch in his living room.

He got a small "Yeah." In response which he only just managed to hear through the door.

"Namjoon and Seokjin hyung are both coming today so you need to get dressed and put some pants on!" Yoongi shouted back.

It was after breakfast and Jimin's idea of getting dressed was just grabbing another larger sized shirt from Yoongi's closet and planning on wearing that all day.

However Yoongi has received a text as he was getting dressed himself saying that the two were coming over and could be there anytime.

Obviously Yoongi began to panic since Jimin was literally only wearing a shirt and underwear and he wasn't sure what type of ideas that would give the other two who had entrusted Jimin into his care but he didn't want to know what ideas they'd have since it was all innocent.

Yoongi jumped slightly when he noticed Jimin stood in the door way looking at him curiously.

"Go choose any pants Jiminie and we can cut a hole in them for the tail but make sure they are big because... the bigger the comfier?" Yoongi said not really wanting to say 'your perfect thighs and arse won't be able to fit into my extremely tight pants.'

Jimin nodded walking into the closet.

Yoongi sighed in relief the boy didn't ask for further information and finished doing the tie he was wearing.

He decided he wanted to dress well that day because he kind of missed dressing in suits but when he got the message he was glad he did knowing that he'd have to look put together otherwise he'd get a lecture of mother Jin.

Jin seemed extra passionate about the hybrids he helped save which was understandable but you throw that passion on top of his already over protective, nurturing nature and you basically have a very scary Jin.

He was bad enough when it came to Jungkook, Hoseok, Namjoon and Yoongi so he could only imagine how he'd act towards the hybrids.

Jimin came back with a pair of grey sweatpants in his hands saying "You had lots of these." And handing them to Yoongi.

Yoongi frowned slightly and said "If you want to wear something else it doesn't have to be what I have lots of, it can be anything you'd like." Which caused Jimin to give him a eye smile stating "I want to wear them hyung."

Yoongi gave him a suspicious look before asking "Why?" Deciding if the reason wasn't up to parr that he'd send Jimin back in for something else that he actually wanted to wear.

Jimin blushed slightly causing Yoongi to grow more curious but still encourage the big who eventually said "Because they smell of you." As he hid his face in his sweater paws hiding his crimson cheeks, ears and neck.

Yoongi also blushed slightly as he nodded in response deciding it was a good enough reason and went to go get the scissors.

He thought about where Jimin's tail was on the boy as he strategically cut the hole before returning to the bedroom and throwing them back over to Jimin.

Yoongi decided to ask something before he planned on leaving just to be sure Jimin would be okay so asked "You good?" Getting a unreadable face back.

It took Yoongi a moment to remember that Jimin still could barely put on a normal shirt so pants which required coordination could understandably seem difficult to him which would also make him slightly embarrassed to admit.

This revolution caused Yoongi to regret his words slightly realising he could've also been softer with it but he was only human and was bound to make the odd mistake so instead of making a further fool out of himself decided to offer help.

"Would you like help Jiminie go make it easier?" Was all Yoongi had to ask to get a small nod from the deeply blushing boy.

Yoongi took a step closer and placed Jimin's arms on his shoulders as he crouched down to the floor with the pants and helped Jimin step in.

Everything went fine until Yoongi remembered the extra limb.

Yoongi wasn't sure if Jimin's tail was as sensitive as a normal cats or if it gave the same affect which is why he generally avoided the fluff ball which was currently swaying side to side in his face.

He decided asking would be easier than awkwardly finding out on his own.

"Jiminie is your tail sensitive or am I okay to touch it to get it in the hole in the pants?" Yoongi asked as sweetly as he could to try and eradicate some of the awkwardness.

Jimin blushed deeply which Yoongi noticed taking the answer as no leaving him slight baffled on what to do.

To his surprise however Jimin broke the quickly building tension and said "You can touch it." In more of a squeak than understandable tone.

Yoongi nodded, gulping slightly, before reaching for it.

He really didn't know how Jimin would react.
