Part 7: Not really prepared

The weather outside was still pretty bad so none of the boys really needed to go to their place of work that day.

So instead of going back home they all decided to help Yoongi prepare for the new addition of his family which they hadn't spoken about properly since the main part of their conversation the night before.

"So Yoongi. How do you feel about bunk beds?" Hoseok asked walking out from his best friends bedroom into the kitchen where everyone else was.

Yoongi turned to him with a pancake in his mouth as his muffled voice spoke saying "What?"

Seokjin hit him playfully scolding "Don't speak with your mouth open."

Yoongi quickly swallowed what he had in his mouth before repeating "What?"

"Well you've only got one bedroom in this apartment and you can't really throw who ever it is on the couch now can you? Sure you can throw me, Jin Hyung and Joon but these hybrids are more permanent." Hoseok explained grabbing himself some pancakes from the pile.

Yoongi scrunched his face up as he commented "I'm not getting rid of my baby." Which they all knew he was referring to his bed.

Namjoon chuckled, swinging his fork around, as he asked "Where do you expect them to sleep then?"

Yoongi shoved another fork full into his mouth before simply staying "We can share."

"Wait you'd be willing to do that?" Jin asked in shock, actually expecting Yoongi to put up some form of limit when it came to his most beloved possession, his oh so precious bed.

"Well I ain't willing to give up my bed and the couch is for guests like you weirdos so I don't really have a choice so I?" Yoongi said with a blank expression literally thinking about how they crashed on his couch last night.

"Why did we doubt this angel?" Hoseok said dramatically cupping Yoongi's face only to be swatted away by the elder who was trying to eat.

"Seriously though hyung, your being really mature about this. Like I get that your a good person and all but accepting all this so easily? I'm amazed. There's a reason I look up to you anyways but wow." Namjoon praises genuinely amazed by his hyung.

"Yahh, stop with the praise. I just want to help because I think to much about how bad this world is. Consider this my contribution on making it better. I don't know. Or just think of it as I don't know why I'm doing this either." Yoongi said tiredly.

"But the fact your doing it is generous Yoongi. Hyung is proud of you. More pancakes for Yoongi." Jin said sliding some onto the dish knowing that Yoongi was getting slightly embarrassed from the compliments.

He then changed the topic for his dongsaeng by asking "Which hybrid did you get we only know numbers?"

Yoongi thought for a moment before answering "I can't fully remember the numbers he was registered under but I know it's a he and there was a 9 and 95 together. Oh and he responds to Park-"

"JIMIN!" All there yelled in unison.

Yoongi jumped at the sudden yelling but nodded nonetheless.

"Wait but that means... him and Tae can still see each other! Kookie got Tae!" Jin shouted looking completely shocked.

"That means they'll have each other. This is working out better and better." Namjoon gushed, genuinely feeling relieved.

"Wait Kooks got one too?" Yoongi asked kind of surprised but also not really since the younger boy had been looking for some form of company for months and if those three got Yoongi to do it they'd definitely get the loving and accepting maknae to help out too.

"Kook was one of the first people to get one, he's been keeping it on the down low until Taehyung got his final check and got sent to him just before the weather took a turn to this. He's been getting used to him without us being there to help which was what the meeting was about yesterday as well an extension for the last hybrids which two went at the same time." Hoseok explained with his heart shaped smile on his face.

"Now I'm the proud hyung. Anyways what can you tell me about hybrids." Yoongi said realising he should probably change topics so he could gain information on his own hybrid first before others.

"Well just know all hybrids are different just like people. So is there anything specific you want to know?" Jin said moving to sit on Namjoon's lap

"Diet. Health. Behaviour. Habits. Likes and dislikes." Yoongi said pulling his phone out to take notes.
