On my way to Reece's house, I was about to cross the road when a car sped up and was about to hit me but I jumped back and fell back on the side of the road. The car didn't even stop to help me. It was as if they actually intended to hit me.I could only catch a glimpse of blonde hair before the car moved past me.People helped me up.Luckily it was just a scratch that I had.
I quickly crossed the road and stood in front of Reece's gate. He had sent me his address of his personal apartment and I was astounded at how massive and beautiful it was. I knocked on Reece's door and the door swung open.
"Hey you" He said,hugging me. I carefully sat on the couch.
"Are you Okay?"
"Actually I fell down and got a scratch" he came closer to inspect it.
"Where?"
"On the road"
"On the road?! How? Why?. Don't tell me you were being clumsy again".
"No, I wasn't . Immediately I put out my foot to cross the road , a car came from nowhere and almost hit me but I was able to jump back and I fell down"
"That's it. I'm taking you any and every where you want to go. No more walking around on your own".
"No , I'm fine. It was probably my fault".
"Your fault?, you were crossing at a zebra crossing like a normal human being. I just think it's strange that a driver would just decide to start his or her car when you're about to cross and on full speed too".
"I don't know, maybe the guy was drunk or angry".
"You're right. Fine , but please be careful next time. I don't want anything happening to my future bride" He said with a smirk and I smiled.
"Hold up, let me get the first aid kit"He went to a room and that gave me time to inspect the apartment. It was massive and beautiful . I stood up and walked towards the curtain and pulled it to the side. There was a big glass behind it that displayed a beautiful part of the city.
"Wow"I said looking at the beautiful trees and all of nature.
"It's beautiful right?" A voice said from behind me and i jumped a little.
"Reece, you scared me " I said and he chuckled.
"I'm sorry, Come sit let help you with the scratch . I sat down and carefully nursed the injury.
"Thank you"
"Anytime". He said and kept staring at me with a quizzy look.
"Reece,Why are you looking at me like that?".
"Why was your facial expression like that when you saw Sierra the other day".
"Like How?".
"Shocked and panicked"
"Oh..probably because I was surprised to see her".
" I know, but why did you panic?. Has she ever done anything to make you panic?.Where do you even know her from?". He said and I looked away . Skeptical on whether to tell him or not.
"Y-yes" I said and he turned my face back to him with worry and uncertainty in his eyes.
"Who's She, Ava?.Who's she to you?. Was she..."
