I walked into school, only to find David in front of my locker.
"How's my favourite girl doing?” Dave said, giving me a kiss on the forehead.
"Not good, you didn't come pick me up today, so I had to take the school bus again and I don't remember the last time I took that thing." I complained.
"Avyy I'm sorry, I had to go pick up something for my gran" he said, after seeing that l was not convinced, he added; "I'll make it up to you. Ice cream after school, what do you say?" he said, wiggling his eyebrows when my eyes beamed at the sound of ice cream.
"Yes!"I exclaimed and he smiled
"Did I mention how happy I am to have the old you, back?".he said and I rolled my eyes.
"Yes, like a thousand times."
"Well it's true."
"What's true?" Kayla, my other best friend said from behind Dave.
"None of your business,brunette. It's between me and Ava" Dave said, causing Kayla to roll her eyes.
"First of all ,in case you have forgotten,she's my best friend too and second, leave my hair colour alone."
"Well I knew her before you, so Scooch" Dave said,pushing Kayla to the side with his palm and grabbing my books and bag from my hands and heading to my class. Dave always used his height to his advantage.I quickly grabbed Kayla before she could pounce on him.
"Ignore him " I said to her before turning to the direction David was heading."Dave, how many times do I have to tell you that I can carry my things by myself?". he just shot me a 'peace' sign and entered my class.
"See you at lunch Kay".
"Byye b".
