"I'm serious. Relax and just trust me. Unless you have an alternative" I didn't have, so I agreed. Beggars can't be choosers. I nodded and he smiled and dialed a number.

"Jane, hey. Please go into my room and bring the hair set in my closet ,tell Austin to bring it down to the address I sent you quickly."Jane?!!! as in the secretary lady???.why did she even know his room? "...Yeah,You can show me when I get back....You can make it when I get back...yh.....See you later...bye".

"Jane?"I asked and he seemed taken aback."As in your secretary or something?"

"Yeah,Why?" he said

"We don't need her. Why is she entering your room?. Why does she even know your room?"I said and he stared at me for a while before he chuckled and then smiled.

"What's so funny?" I said and he walked closer.

"Relax Ava, She's just my secretary".

"Which boss allows a secretary into his room?!"

"Calm down, I don't always allow her .As a matter of fact, this is my first time allowing any of my employees into my room. I did it because ,it's for you" he said

"Well you could have sent a male. Why do you even have a female secretary?.What's wrong with a male one?. They are as good as female ones and they don't distract" Reece just came forward and pinched my cheeks.

"You're cute when you're jealous" he said amusedly and I frowned.

"I am not jealous" I folded my arms again.

"Yes,you are" he said

"No ,I'm not!"I said

"Okay Okay.Whatever sails your boat"he said, raising his hands.

"Look. I'm just saying that...." I started and Reece raised his eyebrow, waiting for me to continue but I processed my words in my head and they did, in fact, sound jealous "Okay maybe I am a little jelly. But!" I said and Reece laughed

"Ava, If I wanted to be with her, I wouldn't be standing here ready to take you to prom or offering to style your hair" he said and I realized that it was actually true.

"You're right" I said "although,I still don't trust her".I said and he shook his head in amusement. The doorbell rang and I went to answer it. I opened the door expecting to just see a guy holding a comb and curling iron but instead,I saw several men with a whole hair studio . I allowed them in and they set up the stuff. By the time they had left, I turned to Reece.

"What?"he asked

"I said I needed a hair curler not a hair salon" I said.

"For this hairstyle, you'll need more than just some curler. Now, come sit,so we can get to it.

I just stared at Reece through the mirror as he put his glasses and apron on .He then examined my hair with all seriousness,as if it was some kind of gold, before he started his work on it,not forgetting to cover the mirror so that I didn't peep before he finished.

After what felt like an hour, he uncovered the mirror and I gasped.I couldn't recognize myself and my hair. Everything about it seemed very professional and...perfect.My hair was braided into a complicated fish tail. There was no hair strand out of place. Flowers adorned the fish tail from the top to the bottom. It reminded my of Rapunzel's hair in the movie 'Tangled',only that mine was brown. I looked at Reece but I could see that he was still examining it "Wow Reece".

" I dont know, there's something missing.....Hold on"he quickly went outside to his car, pulled out something and came back in.

"For some reason, I've had this for quite a while and coincidentally,I guess ,it is made of the same flowers and stones that adorn your dress. I made this for something I was working on, but I would like you to have it". He gently put the hair clip, which had strips of flowers and tiny stones, on my hair and that completed the look. I knew I was going to stand out at the prom. "It's Perfect" I said genuinely and smiled "Thank you".

"No pro-"

"Wow!"My mum gasped from the stairs "Ave, you look beautiful.Let me get my camera". She ran upstairs excitedly and brought her camera.

"Come on,picture time!" She squealed.

Thirty pictures later, we headed for the prom in Reece's car,not just any car,but a freaking limousine. It felt like my wedding day already.
