EKA: Tale of a Wounded Heart

Isco Assenso De Russe Alwar

Isco was feeling a bit sleepy as they made way to the moon temple. He snuggled in Eka's arms slowly dozing off. Kanwar followed Eka's instructions and tied up the hoodie to stop the cold from affecting him much.

Kanwar took him into his arms, again hesitant as he was not sure how it will be recieved. But Isco just looked at him and then settled against him making Kanwar sigh with relief.

"Don't doubt it, he likes you," said Jana running a hand over Kanwar's hair. Kanwar did not stop his brother from babying him a bit. He liked it.

Kanwar and Eka gave their assent to the vows asked by the priest.

"Kanwar De Russe Alwar and Eka De Russe Alwar, do you wish to be parents to Isco Assenso from the bottom of your heart?" asked the priest.

"Yes, " said Kanwar and Eka as they held the kid between them.

And then two blue balls of energy rose from them and merged with Isco. He got the traits of both Alwar and De Russe family and that of Eka's birth pack. He got the inherent star in the body of every Alwar. From De Russe's he got the power of earth inherited from both Iker and Ethan. The same power had gone to Eka when Ethan and Atrey adopted him. Then came the power of Vanta pack (Eka's original pack). It was the sensory gift Eka has. Physically, the mark was left on the hair as Isco's brunette hair now had a darkish glow of the Alwars.

Magnus smiled at Jana and Arth. Arth has inherited several powers from the Mantini's pak too, apart from the blonde streak in his hair.

"It's Isco Assenso De Russe Alwar," said the priest and then the golden stars fell on the new family of three.

Isco beamed as he got to sleep in Kanwar and Eka's room that night. Isco was silent as both placed a comforter around all three of them.

"Are you my dads now?" asked Isco.

"Yes, we would like to be," said Kanwar.

"But I had dads and lost them. What if I lose you too?" asked Isco playing with the edge of his t- shirt.

"You won't," said Eka.

"Promise?" asked Isco.

"Yes, promise," said Kanwar.

"How about you call us something other than dads?" asked Eka.

"Like you call Kings?" asked Isco to Kanwar who nodded.

"Baba, Papa," mumbled Isco. Because at first he did not know what it meant, he had asked Avadh himself. It means the same, only in the language of Manovar.

"M'kay Baba, Papa," mumbled Isco and then he was so tired he fell asleep and the two elders looked at each other, their eyes talking.

Isco refused to leave both of their side. He hated it when either of them were out of his eye sight.

"It's the past memories scaring him. Counselling will have to start sooner,"said Hale, as he rocked a sleeping Isco.

"Yeah, Uncle we will do that. Who would be good?" asked Kanwar.

"Let me ask around. We need the best," said Hale and Eka nodded.

Ivory was curled up in the couch. Magnus raised an eyebrow seeing the kid so upset when he used to be the life of everything around.

He exchanged a look with Samuel who nodded.
Magnus sat on his side.

"Brother," said Ivory sitting up.

"What happened to you? Is this about the person who brushed past you that night?" asked Samuel who was behind him and he was taken aback but nodded slowly knowing he can't hide much from them.

"How about we get all the Hallerbo pack Alpha's over?" asked Magnus.

"You can't do that just for me brother, that will make you seem like a selfish Alpha," said Ivory. He was worrying his lips. Samuel and Magnus exchanged a look. Every single of the De Russe Alwar had this habit including Jeet.

"What did he look like, I mean height wise and body wise?" asked Magnus.

"I don't know. Maybe as tall as Clem and broad as big brother.," said Ivory referring to Antony.

"But he had a black cloak around him. Now that I think about it, what if he is a theif! I saw him the day you all went for that secret discussion with your spies along with Jana," said Ivory.

"Really? Where did you see him at?" asked Jana walking over, understanding dawning on his face and Magnus and Samuel also caught up with it.

"Near the Banyan tree in the western edge. His eyes, they were glowing," said Ivory.

Magnus and Samuel rushed to see Avadh and Iker. This was serious shit! Ivory was too young for this.

"Baba, Papa, we think we know who Ivy's mate is. It's not good news. He might even reject Ivy," said Magnus.

"What? Who?" asked Iker.

"If we guessed right, it is Dantero Heronus Malvan! The Rogue King of Niro," said Samuel.

Avadh sat down sighing.

Iker rushed to his side.

"I am okay," said Avadh.

Ivory gulped. He heard the whole conversation. Dantero Heronus Malvan is the only rogue King in the world as Slavic was only a pack leader and he became a pack leader only after converting from a rogue to a pack wolf.

Dantero was known for his heartlessness. He has never attacked Manovar though. It is believed that he holds great respect for his parents. Dantero's Kingdom is small. But it begins in the eastern borders of Hallerbo. He rules over 40 million rogues. The rogues of the Niro kingdom does not attack any pack or Kingdom. However, if angered they are notorious. Usually if a prince becomes the mate of a rogue, the bond is to be rejected. But he knew he won't have to. His parents and family will be with him all the way.

He looked at his parents and uncles and brothers. All of them fought their own personal wars for a life like this. Maybe it was time for his own war. Even Dantero Heronus Malvan will have tough time refusing the prince of Manowar.
