EKA: Tale of a Wounded Heart

A Decision

Jeev smiled as he watched Ili chase Jeet and Arth. Ili had been down for some time now and it is his birthday. He didn't want Ili to be upset on this day too.

Everyone was going to be there. It has been one and a  half months since they moved into the Hallerbo.

Jeev saw Iker carrying Isco around. Isco rarely spoke these days and they were giving him counselling. He wouldn't get angry at Arth or fight or do anything at all.

Clement placed his arm around Jeev who smiled up at him.

"I wish things were different for Isco," said Jeev sadly.

"We all do," said Clement.

"You both come over here," called Cris. Viraat, Ahem and Vansh were also there.

"Go on," said Ira rolling her eyes. A pregnant Ira is a scary era and Clement was absolutely terrified of his sister in law so he just walked over as quick as possible while Jeev followed at a languid pace throwing a dirty look at Ira.

"You just wait till I get pregnant," said Jeev.

Ira rolled her eyes.

"Who's stopping you? Definitely not bro because he can't keep his hands or eyes off you for a second," teased Pran.

"You wait till we find your mate," scowled Jeev pulling at Pran's long hair with a warning look.

Vir snorted.

"We are sending you to one of the packs in the Himalayas. They are asking our help in some internal ministry formation. You both will be excellent for it," said Cris.

"He is saying that your Baba is flustered about offering a late honeymoon ticket to you both to Himalayas and yeah, do the job too which does need your expertise, but still," said Iker.

Avadh's face was red and was glaring at Iker which softened once Iker smiled at him.

Vir sniggered. He is not very talkative but adored his family.

"Well, that's not really a surprise. Iker can very well blast half of the world and then smile at King and the man is putty," snorted Ethan.

"Hahaha, says you," laughed Atrey.

"I think I have heard enough about castrating my brother when Iker got pregnant with Jeet and then he came over to give a piece of his mind and I was so worried trying to stop him. Then Alpha Ethan is hugged by Iker and he just smiled at him and the man was congratulating them. But I guess the fact that Iker would skin him alive if he lost Brother's-

"That's enough. I seriously hope you were not going to finish that sentence Atrey," said Avadh.

Atrey pouted at him.

"I didn't mean it like that kiddo-" started Avadh and then Atrey and Iker started laughing holding each other.

Kanwar smiled a small but sad smile when he saw Eka carrying around a sleeping Isco. Jana was tying the sweater tightly around him as the climate grew colder and kissed on Isco's forehead.

"It's okay if he stays here Jana, I am sure King won't mind," said Eka.

And he did not mind. Isco was a silent kid and he could remember a much younger Eka who never spoke to anyone unless they are family.

Jana smiled as he looked at the adoption papers. They had to do a lot of research because they had to consider the consequences of bringing up two kids as siblings who could possibly be mates. They did not want it to fuck with their minds or the legalities becoming a problem.

Jana and Magnus would love nothing more than to bring Isco up. He saw Magnus carrying Isco around as Arth sat talking encouragingly. They were all adorable that Jana wanted to do something as undignified as say "Awwww".

But he felt it weigh on his chest. The possibility of them being able to adopt Isco was almost nil. Jana felt a teardrop slide down his face and onto the papers.

He tried to keep the smile in place lest his three boys turn and see him crying.

Magnus was furious as he spoke to the council. So was Samuel. They were sitting next to Avadh and Iker. The dads placed a hand on theirs with a firm look.

"How do we give them to Mantinis when even the parents were not protected by them," said one of the council men.

Before the situation got worse they left. But none left without a doubt that they will make the council pay, if not now, they will in future.

Eka smiled as he kissed on Kanwar's forehead. "Go on, just be safe and get back fast," said Eka.

Kanwar smirked.

"Oh, I will, trust me!" smirked Kanwar and kissed Eka and left.

Eka blushed.

Isco looked at Arth whose eyes were trained on him, worried. Arth sat closer as if worried that Isco would react badly. Arth was nice and adorable.

Isco couldn't push him away when Arth hugged him. Isco let him as they both sat on the same sofa.

Ivory was running through the woods. His speed was unparalleled. In Hellebore, being the brother in law and the prince meant he has free reign in the woods. Also, his brothers trusted him to help them out.

At almost 25, Ivory knew his way around tough woods no matter how much his brothers thought he is a kid. He sighed as he crashed into a wolf. The mere brush of their skin made him recognise it as something important. It made him feel all weird and then as he watched the wolf turn into man and disappear into the woods, he realised he just met his mate. Talk about excellent reception.

Ivory ran after him but apparently the Alpha did not wish to reveal himself. He sighed, dejected and walked back. He rushed into the palace and ran into Avadh's arms.

Avadh held him.

Once he calmed down, he told Iker what happened.

Magnus walked over and placed an arm around him while Clement did the same on the other side. Samuel raised his face.

"If your mate- no, we know as a matter of fact that your mate is in Hallerbo, we will find him and have a few words," smirked Samuel.

Ivory nodded as he let his brothers hug him.
