I'm so dumb! 😂
Please do not do what I am doing. If you already have a book you are writing and haven't finished it, I advice to not write another one.
I just realized I have screwed myself but for me, it'll be worth it (Hopefully).
Cuz I love Mirio! (He's my babe! 😍😆)
Anyways, enjoy!

3rd POV:
She hadn't noticed the weird looks she was receiving, she was too immersed into her work to care at the moment. At times like these, she was in bliss. She didn't have to worry about what everyone was thinking about her or if they were all gossiping about her. She tightened the screw on her gadget just a tad more before finally resigning for the day.
Tinkering had been her specialty since she was a toddler. Her father was quite good at it as well and she enjoyed helping him as much as she could with his projects. Now, she had become quite the inventor and being in such a prestigious school helped her bring out her potential. At least as an inventor. Anything else, she was a lost cause and most of the times, she did not mind but she is still human.
The desire for friendship was still there, even companionship. Love and affection sounded so wonderful when she would catch her classmates talking about it. It left a kindling yearning for some type of caress of affection and one time, she had pursued it, leaving her broken and with a perfervid feeling of disgust and self-hatred.
She wiped the sweat off her eyebrows with the back of her hand before it could drip onto her gadget. It wasn't too big but it would definitely come in handy for someone like her, perhaps it may even help her make some friends. She smiled to herself as she gingerly touched the smooth rubbery buttons, making sure that the ink on them were now dry. They most definitely were and she continued inspecting it, making sure all the letters, symbols, and numbers were there and all organized in the qwerty formation.
Once she was satisfied, she began inspecting the tiny screen, it was horizontal and attached to the mini keyboard, the screen was black, an obvious indication of it being powered off. She clicked the power button on right side of the keyboard and grinned at her achievement. It turned on, the screen now white as the screen showed in italic, Type here. She would have to test out the sound later on, the bell for lunch chimes throughout the whole school and everyone rushed out of their class.
A few of them had carelessly passed by her, there bags smacking into her and knocking her gadget out of her hands. She fumbled around, trying to catch it before it could even crash on to the ground. And she did. Barely. She sighed in relief as she set it in her bag and put it over her shoulder. She quickly began running to the cafeteria, everyone was in a rush because today there was cheesecake for dessert. Her absolute favorite.
She quickly pulled her hair up into a ponytail, never stopping her feet as she nimbly weaved through the crowd. "Watch out!" With a grunt, she was knocked off her feet and fell harshly to the floor. She immediately curled up into a ball, as she waited for the stomping of feet to finally disappear but before they could, she was pulled off the floor. She was dragged away from the crowd and into an empty classroom.
Out of instinct, she flailed her arms and punched whoever was holding her, in the face. This action caused whoever it was, to release her and she once again fell on her bum. "Oops! Sorry about that but that was one heck of a punch!" She looked up at the boy, he had blonde hair up in a cowlick, and he was smiling while rubbing his left cheek. "Did I startle you? I saw you fall back there and I couldn't just not do anything. Are you okay, by the way?"
She nodded her head slowly, her heart still palpitating. The boy bent down and helped her on her feet and began scanning her for any injuries. "Nothing serious, just a pretty nasty scrape but nothing Recovery Girl can't heal." He beamed at her and she couldn't help but turn her head away. She rubbed the back of her neck, feeling awkward as she tried to ignore his stare.
"Not much of a talker, are you?" She lifted her eyes to look at him before shaking her head. "Well...that's fine. My best friend is somewhat similar. You shy or something?" She shrugged her shoulders, casting her gaze to the bleeding wound on her knee. Then her bag caught her attention and remembered the device she had put in there earlier. Her eyes brightened at the opportunity that had presented itself to her.
"Hm? Did you lose something?" The blondie watched her curiously as she began digging into her bag then pulled out her gadget of earlier. Bemused, the blondie peered over her shoulder then arched his eyebrow. "What's that?" She turned to face him as she turned the gadget on and began to type in it. The blondie simply waited for her patiently then he jumped when he heard a feminine mechanical voice coming from out of nowhere.
"Sorry about that. I hope I didn't hurt you. I didn't want to seem rude when I didn't respond earlier but for me, that would be very difficult."
The blondie was more than baffled now as he stared at the girl in front of her who seemed just as surprised. Her confused look quickly changed into a bright smile as she jumped up and down with joy. After she calmed down she looked at the boy who was simply staring at her. "Uh...I'm a bit confused as to what just happened." The girl bowed deeply repeatedly and he knew she was apologizing.
"Its fine but, can you kind of clear up what's going on?" She smiled as she began typing again. "My name is (Surname), (First Name). What's yours?" The blondie smiled at her as well as he responded. "Togata, Mirio. What's the device's purpose?" He was honestly curious and he wants to know more. The girl smiled at him sadly as she typed into it once more.
"I'm a mute."

Hope that was good.
Hopefully I don't get writer's block so quickly. I usually do and I hate it.
Until next time!
