2nd POV:
Shopping.
Your worst enemy.
It involved with too much socializing, that was already a difficult task as it was with just the couple of friends you have. Some employees were nice and patient, most weren't and that made your stomach drop. You were content with just watching your friends pick out each others clothes, they offered you some a couple of times and you refused them all. It left a bad taste every time you did, their disappointed look made your heart ache. Now the sudden dread of your friends leaving you starts to settle in and when Nejire approaches you again, excitedly pointing at a large and round rack of cropped sweaters, you reluctantly go over.
"Try this on, wait! No, try this! Or...perhaps this one." At the sight of you, Nejire couldn't help but beam and continued to pull out different colored and styled cropped sweaters. She would place them in front of you so rapidly that it made you dizzy but her ear-to-ear grin was contagious. Finally, she decides to grab a pair of sweaters, one being a pastel yellow and the other being a dark (f/c) and sets the (f/c) into your arms. "Now jeans!" You pressed the sweater against your chest as you tried to keep up with a chipper Nejire, who kept abruptly stopping mid-skip to make a sharp turn until you finally lost sight of her. You immediately stopped walking and turned a full circle in hopes of perhaps spotting the familiar periwinkle hair, but when you never spot it, you bite your lower lip and go search for the other two.
When your search turns up fruitless, you simply stand in place as you try to think of where any of those three could have ended up. You exhale an exasperated breath and take a seat on a bench between a checkout and a fitting room. You place the sweater on your lap as you pull out your phone only to grit your teeth when you turn it on. Great, just what I needed, no service. You tuck it back into your side purse, you faltered when you touch the familiar device you thought you had left at home. You hesitated at first but resign to pulling it out, opening it and turning it on. As soon as it turned on, you rushed to type something before going for the cashier.
You gave him a hopeful smile, waving at him before arriving at his checkout and then pressed the little mouth button on your Speak-For-Me. "My friend is running amuck and I sort of lost sight of her. Could you please call her out?" The cashier seemed taken aback at first at your way of communication but immediately smiled as he reaches for the red phone on the pillar wall close to him. "Her name?" You immediately brighten, glad that he was nice. "Hadou, Nejire." He clicks on a couple of numbers before pressing the red plastic phone to his face, his voice not only reaching your ears but the whole store. "Is there a Hadou, Nejire anywhere in the store. Please come to register 3, your friend is looking for you." Your face burned when he finished up and hung the phone back in place, you bowed in thanks which he returned with a gentle smile.
"Neat device you've got there." You fidgeted in place, his curious gaze on you making you feel a tad uncomfortable. "Thank you." You felt oddly satisfied at his words, a smile of your own making its way onto your lips and hid it behind your device. He leaned forward, resting his upper weight onto his arms he tried to take a closer look at your device. "Where'd you get it?" His sudden closeness caught you off guard, causing you to almost drop your device before regaining your shy posture from before. "I built it." You could clearly see his excitement light up in his eyes, at this close range, you began to take in his features. He had really dark brown hair, it almost seemed black and incredibly unruly. He has bright brown eyes as well and you couldn't help but admit to yourself that he was also incredibly handsome. "I have a couple of friends at my school who would be very impressed with your work. What school do you go to?" He asks this question all while holding out his palm to you, motioning for you to let him hold your device.
You hold your finger up, "UA." He raised his eyebrows at you as you hand him your device and he gives it a quick look over before handing it back to you. "Well, I'm from Ketsubutsu Academy. The name's Shindo, Yo." He closes his eyes for a brief moment as he gives you a large grin and you pull out your hand for him to shake, which he did, his touch awfully soothing. "I'm (L/n), (F/n). It's so nice to meet you." He shakes his head, standing straight once again as he eyes a couple of customers approaching his register, you look over your shoulder and stumble out of the way, cheeks blooming when Shindo chuckles at you. He does a quick and smooth job, waving and thanking the customers for shopping before turning back to you. "No need to be so formal. You can even call me Yo, I don't mind." He smiles endlessly, you couldn't help but feel a bit drawn to him because he reminds you so much of Mirio.

He gave you a few perplexing and surprised blinks at the expression you were making, your gaze had softened, your cheeks tinted with a small amount of red, and you had unintentional opened mouth smile. He, himself, couldn't help the blood from rushing to his cheeks and rubs the back of his neck. Pretty. That was the only word that crossed his mind and before he could say anything else to you, two resounding voices catch both of his and your attention as your friends hustle over to you. "(L/n)-san! Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry I abandoned you!" Nejire immediately pounces on you once she was close enough and has you trapped into her tight embrace. "I haven't had that happened since I was in elementary school!" Mirio guffaws as he slings an arm over your shoulders, bringing you in close to him once you had finally pried Nejire's arms off of you only to immediately tumble into Mirio's side. Tamaki sighed in relief at the sight of you, all pessimistic possibilities of what could have happened to you disappearing.
"I'm glad you're okay." You give a thankful smile at both Tamaki and Shindo, only Shindo walks out from behind the register and hands you a folded piece of paper to you. "Hope to see you again." All three of your friends stare after him as he walks back to his register to take in more customers, then they turn to look at the paper in your hands which you had already opened. "OOH! You've got yourself a love interest!" Tamaki tugs on Nejire's shirt, hoping to quiet her down as Mirio simply stares at the numbers on the small wrinkled paper. It didn't settle well with him and the longer you stared at it before taking your phone out only made it worse. Despite it, he could only beam at you, glad that you were making more friends. He knew it was something you've been struggling with and he wasn't going to be an obstacle in your making of new friends, even if he thought this new friend was sickeningly charming.
"Well! I'm parched! How about buying some drinks!"
Tamaki nods in agreement as he follows behind Nejire, Mirio began to walk when you did, keeping a close eye on you as you smile the rest of the day out with them.
