I really need to reread Mirio's arc.
I love him so much!

2nd POV:
No screaming.
No crying.
No sobbing.
No whimpering.
No singing.
No talking.
No whispering.
No sounds.
Upon opening your eyes, you realized how hazy your sight had become and you knew why. That familiar dread draining the blood from your face and the cold tears spilling from your eyes, it use to be routine of yours. Where everyday you had to anxiously anticipate anything of the day to come. The stress and self-harm causing more physical damage than necessary but having no way to control all that panic constantly fighting its way up your throat.
Even now; that fear, panic, and dread were fighting so desperately to escape the confines of your throat and you couldn't help but let out a pathetic sob. It was pathetic due to the fact that only air came out and the shuttering of your breath when you inhaled were the only sounds echoing in whatever room you were sleeping in.
That's when it hit you.
Where am I?
The bright lights brought a nostalgic feeling to your stomach and when you turned your head to the side, it only worsened when you noticed that you were in a gurney. Hospital? Am I in a hospital? The sheer panic you felt at that moment made you take action without thinking through. You threw yourself off the gurney and began crawling away from it, the mere sight of it making you sick.
All that ruckus you were making was bound to wake Mirio, who was quietly napping a couple of feet away from your gurney and you hadn't even noticed, and he jumped out the chair he was resting on. His hands and feet were already in a stance to fight, his body naturally prepared to act this way in case something were to happen. Although, of all things to expect, he didn't quite expect to see you crawling away on the floor as if your life depended on it.
His confusion only lasted a couple of minutes before he squat down beside you and pulled you up into a sitting position. You were too lost in your own thoughts, you hadn't realized what was in your surroundings and the fact that someone went to touch you during your vulnerable times, you flinched and immediately went to curl up into a ball. Continuously mouthing I'm sorry even though Mirio had not done anything.
Recovery Girl had come in halfway during the situation and immediately came down to calm you down as well. It took a while for your breathing to regulate and it took even longer for you to finally uncurl yourself. Mirio had helped you get off the floor to help you up onto the gurney but you wouldn't let him, that panic once again try to take over you until Mirio settled you onto the chair he was sitting on instead.
"Is this okay?" Mirio, his chest had been hurting since the beginning of all this mess and his stomach clenched in slight terror seeing you fall apart like this, he had no idea why or how to help you. His mind was drawing a blank as to what to say but he then realized that Recovery Girl wasn't saying anything to you either. Perhaps it was for the best, yet deep down, he felt as if he should say something but there was only one thing coming to his mind.
He squat down, resting on the ball of his feet as he reached for your hands and held them gingerly in his own, making eye contact with you as well. Although, he seemed to notice how you weren't entirely there but that won't stop him.
"I've got you now."
You have no idea what was going on but for some reason, you felt an easiness you have never felt before. The sudden relief washing over was so overwhelming that tears began to spill and became a sputtering mess, sobbing silently onto Mirio's shoulder as you wrapped your arms under his and clenched onto his shirt, afraid that somehow that easiness would disappear.
Despite being taken aback a bit, he set his hands onto your shoulder, rubbing them as a way of comfort. After probably an hour, you reluctantly pulled away but immediately brought your hands to your face, feeling the embarrassment rushing in all at once.
Ssssshhhhhhhiiiiiii-!
"You...feeling better?"
You jumped at Recovery Girl's question and felt the embarrassment double. How could you have forgotten she was there the while time?!
Double ssssssshhhhhhhiiiiiiiiiiii-
"Do you wanna go home, (L/n)-san?"
Did you? You were feeling exhausted now and laying in the comfort of your bed did sound rather nice. You nodded your head, more than willing to go home and simply die on your bed. Mirio gave you a dorky grin, where eyes were practically closed and his lips were lopsided. It was something you've grown to cherish about him, even if you haven't known each other very long, it made you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
"That'd be for the best. Get some rest and I hope you don't mind but, can you come visit me tomorrow afternoon?" You didn't want to but Recovery Girl was a hundred times better than going back to that dreadful place. It would've been much worse if her previous rehab found out she had a major relapse. I also don't want to worry mom and dad. They have also suffered the consequences of your past trauma along with you, you want to avoid involving them even further than necessary.
You nodded your head, no enthusiasm behind it, clearly indicating how you'd rather not come back here. Recovery Girl ignored the look on your face and nodded in satisfaction. "Thank you. I'll see you tomorrow then. Take her home safely, Togata-san." With that being said, Recovery Girl gave you a comforting pat on the back, as if to tell you that you have nothing to fear around her.
It was quite pleasant.
You were suddenly handed your backpack, snapping you out of your deep never-ending thoughts. You could only smile as a gesture of your gratitude and slowly stood up of the seat you were in. You went and reached for your speak-for-me device, a lame nickname you decided to give it, and quickly typed up something you've been wanting to say to Mirio for the past half hour.
"Thank you, Togata-san"
Mirio reached for the device and typed into it as well.
"Anything for you."
Three words, yet, they made you feel euphoric. You clenched the device in your hands before finally deciding to close it and stuff it back where you had pulled it out from. Once you had your backpack on, you smiled before beginning your walk back home and realizing that the rain had stopped. Also.........
You ceased all movement before looking down at your hand, being gingerly wrapped in a callus one, the person behind it smiling at you as he pulled you along with him.
This feeling...
When was the last time you had felt it?
This feeling of being...
Safe.
