Why am I always so darn tired?

Or is it just me?

Anyways, more days and hours at work.

Yay me...

2nd POV:

You were on cloud nine.

Despite having to leave after it got dark, Mirio's company had made you feel so much better, allowing you to momentarily forget everything that has been eating at you lately. Allowing you to feel at bliss, even for just a little while, but like all good things, it had to come to an end. You were beginning to feel glum at the thought of him leaving but, you couldn't hold him here forever. Yet, you couldn't help the tightening of your throat when you saw him begin to pack up his things and stand up with his backpack in hand. He grinned at you as he offered you assistance and you gently place your hand in his. Neither of you pulled away once you had gotten up as you followed him from behind, head hung low so that you could avoid having your crestfallen expression from being exposed. You fought back the urge to tighten your hold on his hand, reluctantly releasing him once you've reached the front entrance of your house.

"You'll be at school tomorrow, right?" He held a very gentle smile as he watched you fidget in place before nodding your head, your hands pressed firmly against your sides. He leaned forward a tad, hesitating before finally just deciding on pressing a chaste peck on your cheek, to which you immediately lifted your gaze towards his face. Your cheeks immediately warmed, your own gaze softening before immediately dropping it to look at your slippers. Mirio felt giddy at your reaction but, held back from pulling you into his smothering embrace. "Alright. I'll meet you at the gates." You nodded your head in such a rush, you could have broken your neck. Mirio gives you a quick wave before opening the door and disappearing, your yearning only spiked as he did and you reach for the doorknob as you contemplated going after him.

Feeling unnecessarily clingy, you bite down on your lower lip and clench your hand into a fist as you slowly pull it back towards your chest. You let out shaky breaths, your lips quivering as you head back to your room and tuck yourself under your blankets, forcing yourself to sleep so that tomorrow could arrive much faster.

I want to see him again.

You looked around, your nerves causing you to endlessly fidget with the long sleeves of your blazer as you leaned back and forth on the balls of your feet and the tips of your toes. You ignored the strange glances the students gave you as they passed by you upon entering UA. You nervously looked over your shoulder to get a better look at some the students that gave you strange looks. Before you even realized it, you hear someone say oof as they collide into you and the both of you fall with a heavy thud onto your back. You groaned softly, your bottom just a tad sore but what was aching excruciatingly was your elbow and you let out a soft whimper. "OH MY GOSH! I AM SO SORRY! I SHOULD HAVE BEEN PAYING ATTENTION TO WHERE I WAS GOING! THAT WAS SO NOT MANLY OF ME!" Whoever it was that had landed on top of you kept apologizing until his face went blue. He finally picks himself up before offering you his hand, you stared at his rough palm before tracing your eyes up his arm until you reached his face. He gave you a tiny mortified smile as he met your eyes.

You had a tiny frown on your lips, your eyes involuntarily tearing up as your elbow throbbed painfully as you pressed your other hand into his and cradled your injured one against your chest

You had a tiny frown on your lips, your eyes involuntarily tearing up as your elbow throbbed painfully as you pressed your other hand into his and cradled your injured one against your chest. You quickly pull your hand away from his firm grasp, your bitterness against him growing with each throb that shot up from your elbow. You avoided any and all eye contact with him, a small pout replacing your frown as you tried to rub the pain from your elbow only to wince at the touch. The boy notices this and tries to reach out for your elbow but immediately flinches when you shoot a glare at him, pulling your arm further away from him. He brings his hands up to his shoulders in surrender as he gives you a worried expression. "Um...Let me check if your elbow is okay...please?" His gentle smile made you avert your eyes as you let him slowly approach you before he reached for your arm.

He grabbed you as gently as he could, avoiding the injured area as he rolled your sleeve halfway up your bicep before he began inspecting you. You could hear his relieved sigh as he lets your arm go and you bring it to your chest as you give him a skeptical look. "It most likely just bruised but again, I am so sorry." He presses both palms together in front of his face, his eyes tightly shut and despite how irritated you were with him, you couldn't bring yourself to stay mad. Besides, you really liked his hair. You fumbled around your blazer's pockets before yanking your device out, "Quit apologizing already. Can you just help me pick up the stuff that fell out of my backpack?" He startled at the monotone voice, searching around as to where it came from until his red eyes landed on the device in your hand. "Uh...Yeah?" His reaction actually brought a smile to your lips before you let out an airy laugh, making the poor boy become more baffled than he already was as he picks up the couple of things you dropped before handing them to you. You grab them and stuff it back into your bag, deciding to organize it later once you were in class as you turn your attention back to the red head in front of you.

"I'm mute. This device is my way of communicating with others." You waved it slightly in front of him as you raised a curious eyebrow at him. For some strange reason, his reaction caught you off guard and you couldn't help but jump back a step as he gives you a starry-eyed expression, grinning widely at you. "That is so cool! I mean, not the whole mute thing but, um...this little device of yours." His excitement quickly became bashful and you couldn't help but soften at the sight of him. "What's your name?" He looked up at you through his lashes before raising his head to look at you properly, trying to ignore the fact of just how pretty he thought you were. "Kirishima, Eijiro. I'm a first year!" He seemed so genuinely excited as he pointed at himself and waits for you to respond. "I'm (L/n), (F/n). Second year." His grin is so wide that you noticed his sharp teeth but you could swear he was glowing, you had to squint a tad.

"HEY! CRAPPY HAIR! HOW LONG DO YOU PLAN ON GAWKING THERE?!" Kirishima rolls his eyes at that awfully booming voice of someone behind you and you winced. "Sorry about him, that's Blasty McSplode. Not the most patient or nicest person in school but, he's not as bad as he makes himself seem!" You give him a confused look before just simply nodding at his words. "Well...I guess I have to go. I hope I see you around, senpai!" He gives you a quick wave before running off to catch up with his group of friends and you curiously watch them, ignoring the quick beating of your heart at the fact that you now had a kohai, until the familiar voice of Mirio's catches your attention. "(L/n)! Sorry for making you wait!" Mirio's voice did not help calm the hammering in your chest as he approaches you, his arm immediately slinging over your shoulders as he pulls you into his side.

You had long since rolled your sleeve down as you smile nervously at your feet. "Don't worry. You're never early anyways." He pressed a hand against his chest, feigning hurt as he groaned softly. "Ye have little faith in me." You both laughed as you stroll into the building, your mind feeling at much more ease now that Mirio was with you.
