Deceit flinched Virgil laughed. Tears filled his but he quickly wiped them away. Patton went to comfort him by rubbing his back but Deceit fell off the couch to get away from him.
They're gonna hurt me and sent me back to the dark sides! I can't trust them! Deceit thought as he curled in a ball. The white board and marker were long forgotten now.
"So,, Apathy finally shut you up?" Virgil asked teasingly. He could sense the high anxiety coming off the other. He went over to Deceit and tried to calm him down. "Look, as much as you deserved this–" Virgil received a glare from Patton. "–we're gonna see if Logan can fix it, alright?"
Deceit nodded but hugged his knees tighter away from Virgil. He couldn't trust them, especially Virgil. He brung his hands up to claw at the stitches but Virgil gently grabbed his hands to stop him. Deceit jerked his hands away, shaking in fear.
Patton sat on the ground next to him, reaching a hand out in silent consent. Deceit hesitated before nodding. Patton hugged him gently, rubbing his back as the other subconsciously let the tears out.
"It's alright Deceit, no one is going to hurt you here.. We're not like the dark sides; we treat each other like family here..." Patton murmured, holding the snek closer. Roman nodded in agreement.
"When Logan comes down he'll help you, aright?" Romans' voice was surprisingly soft.
