[I reckon you won't trust me, but here's some good ol' fluff

Thomas began to panic, causing Virgil to panic. "Guys, I can't lie! Which means I won't be able to get out of tight situations! I was supposed to help plan a surprise appreciation party!"

"Thomas, kiddo, calm down.." Patton spoke softly. "Breathe in and out like Logan taught you.."

Thomas did as Patton said and slowly began to calm down, Virgil calming down as well. He gave Virgil an apologetic look. "Should I summon Deceit to see if I can help him?"

The three sides looked at each other in silent conversation. Patton sighed and ended up nodding. "We were going to wait for Logan but no one knows where he is. My guess is that he's working on something and will be out later.."

Thomas nodded and summoned Deceit. The snake like trait popped up, looking both dizzy and confused. He swayed a bit, flinching when Patton helped steady him.

"Sorry Dee, I'm not that good at the whole summoning thing." Thomas let out a nervous laugh. Deceit waved it off and shook his head. "I uh...recently learned I can't lie and I wanted to know how I can help you get well.."

Deceit pointed at himself, shock in his eyes. Thomas nodded and motioned for them to sit on the couch. Deceit hesitated before sitting next to Thomas, curling in on himself to take up as little space as physically possible. Thomas noticed this and pulled him into his lap.

"Calm down Dee, we want to help. Sure, tricking us like that wasn't very nice but you're still part of me and I still care." He rubbed the Deceit's back. The other three sat on the couch and put the live action Little Mermaid on. "Is it ok if I look at the stitches?"

Deceit, who had just started relaxing against Thomas, sat straight up and gave him a frightened look. He was afraid of what Thomas would do to him. Thomas continued to rub his back in a comforting way. With a hesitant nod, Deceit adjusted so he could see the horribly done stitching.

"You poor thing..." Thomas mumbled as he looked at the stitching. There was no doubt that Deceit had tried to struggle during it and that the person who had done it didn't care if he was in pain. "When we see Logan, we'll ask how to remove them, ok?"

Deceit nodded, tears filling his eyes. He leaned against Thomas, laying his head on Thomas' shoulder as the host held him close.  Thomas decided that the video could be edited later and saved his work, putting his laptop next to him.

What Deceit couldn't understand was why they were willing to help him. The villain. The liar. He felt like Regina when she was helped by Emma.

Maybe villains can get their long lost happy endings?
