It was Side vs Side.

Weapons clashed against one another, causing echoes to ring out in the void. Everyone seemed to be fighting to the death over it all.

Yet. . . no one noticed how Apathy slipped away.

No one noticed how the area glitched and waved like a bad dream. . .

It was like none of it was there to begin with. . .

Deceit's heart raced as he was suddenly put in the middle of the war. He could see Remus and the Sins making their entrance and jumping in to save the Lights. Yet he also noticed how fake it looked. He was Deceit after all! The Side of lies, deception, illusions, self preservation

"Stop it! Make it stop!" Deceit called out desperately as he saw Logan and the two young dark Sides somehow spawn into the warzone, all three getting impaled. Tears streamed down his cheeks as he looked around in desperation, wanting everyone to just stop.

And they did.

The world froze before glitching out of existence. Deceit looked around and noticed he was in. . . his and Logan's special place? He could see him and Logan sitting under a tree with himself patching up Logan.

"What the hell..?" Deceit muttered to himself. Didn't he just see Logan get killed? And wasn't he just there. . .? "This doesn't make any sense!"

"Of course it doesn't. Your pathetic mind is so broken that it's mixing memories with dreams." A dark voice chuckled from behind him. Deceit whipped around and was face to face with Apathy. The dark leader's expression was cold and he had blood on him, no doubt was it some one else's.

"Wh-what do you want from me?!" Deceit demanded, trying to sound brave. Apathy laughed and pulled a sword out, making the snake boi step back cautiously. He tripped over a rocked and fell backwards onto his butt, the area glitching out of existence once again.

"Little snake, little snake," Apathy chuckled darkly, "you've always been the dense one. We told you to stop lying, but you didn't. Not only did you pretend to be Morality and get caught, you also tried to run away. I'm here to finish you off."

Deceit's eyes widened as Apathy raised the sword. Deceit closed his eyes and waited for the impact.

. . . .

. . . .

. . . .

But it never came. . .

 . . . .

. . . .

. . . .

"Deceit, wake up!"
