bathroom window

johnny's pov:

the rest of the school day went by quickly. I haven't seen mackenzie since this morning when lauren and I told her that we were moving. I waited outside of school for hayden to come out. hayden an I walked to his house. he lives right next to mackenzie's dad. I don't know how she delt with the news of me moving. we went upstairs to hayden's room and I looked out of his window. his room is directly across from kenzie's. she was sitting on her bed with a year stained face. she looked up and made eye contact with me. she got up from her bed and closed the curtains.

I grabbed my phone and called mackenzie. she didn't answer. I'm starting to get worried about her.

johnny: “hayden, my mom wants me home”.

hayden: “okay, see you tomorrow at school”.

I walked out of hayden's house and walked quickly to mackenzie's house next door. I knocked on the door and no one answered. i twisted the door knob. it was unlocked. I opened the door and closed the door behind me.

johnny: “hello? kenzie?”

I got no response so I started to search around the house and I started walking upstairs and I heard something fall on the floor. I walked upstairs and I went to kenzie's room and her door was open. I didn't really see anything out of place. The only thing was a picture of me and kenzie on the floor but the frame was broken... I noticed that her window was open. I walked down the hallway to the upstairs bathroom but when I tried to open the door it was locked. I can hear kenzie crying in the bathroom.

johnny: “kenz open the door”.

mackenzie: “no, go away!”

johnny: “kenzie, talk to me”.

mackenzie: “your the last person on earth I wanna talk to right now”.

johnny: “please kenz”.

mackenzie: “fine, hold on”.

mackenzie's pov:

I told johnny to wait a minute. I opened the bathroom window and I was going to jump down into the tree and run.

mackenzie: “alright the door is unlocked”.

johnny: “okay I'm coming in”.

I hurried up and jumped out the window down to the tree. I got down to the tree and started to run as fast as I could.
