Awake Part 2

Jimin's Point Of View
   Ugh my head is killing me! I raised my arm to rub at my aching head. A man with cherry red hair in a lab coat walk in and he nearly dropped the clipboard he was holding. "Jimin you're awake! Thank goodness, we were starting to assume you'd never wake up! I'm your doctor, Doctor Taeyong Lee. On another note, a boy has been visiting you every single day. He was unable to these past three because we had to put you in isolation. Let me check your vitals and make sure you're getting better and then I can call your father."
    Doctor Lee walked around the room to check my IV and my heart monitor. He turned a knob on the IV bag to lower the speed of medicine being injected into me.
   How long was I out for? All I can remember is walking home from the carnival after eating at the diner with Yoongi and then being drug into an alley. I don't have an enemies, who would do- Hoseok. Hoseok was the one to drag me into the alley and leave me like this. God I'm so weak, I couldn't even protect myself from him! I can't believe I'd let myself get hurt like this.
   Doctor Lee seemed to notice me deep in thought and he left to call my dad. I knew I should have called dad to pick me up. If I had just called dad I wouldn't be in this mess and make dad worry. But who found me? Yoongi couldn't have found me, he was at home probably. That only leaves dad. He found me in such a weak and broken state that no parent should have to witness. A lone tear raced down my face imagining how I must have looked to dad. While being lost in thought I didn't realize dad was right there in the room in front of me.
   He tried running to me. "Dad be careful you'll— fall" I couldn't even finish my sentence before he fell on the floor with a loud thud. He quickly scampered to his feet before taking a seat on the chair beside me. He began to cry as he cupped my cheeks, looking at my face to see the still purple bruises littering my face.
    "Jimin I'm sorry I couldn't protect you like I should have! When I adopted you I swore to both you and I that I would protect you from everything in creation and now look, you're laying in a hospital bed! I'm so sorry Jimin! I'm a horrible father but I'll try to be better I promise!" Dad sobbed out before grabbing my hand. 
   "Dad this wasn't your fault at all, it was mine. I chose not to call you to pick me up and now I have to live with the consequences." I replied quickly. "Jimin you can't really believe that this is your fault! You didn't walk into the alley and ask to get beaten up! It's not your fault, it's Hoseok's fault because he threw the abuse at you. In a month and a half we will file a court case against him and give him time in jail. Not only will he be tried as an adult, he won't be able to get a meaningful job afterwards either. He should've known better than to mess with a lawyer's son haha." Dad said.
   So Hoseok will stop being mean now? He will finally leave me alone? But what will happen to Hoseok?
    "Dad I would've made him stop sooner but I knew he was abused at home so I let him yell and scream at me. It was never physical until two weeks ago. Dad I'm fine, just get Hoseok's dad behind bars. Once he's in jail Hoseok should stop. We don't have to mess up Hoseok's life no matter how badly he hurt me." I replied.
      "Heh, even when you've been hospitalized and made comatose from Hoseok you still hold your empathy and care for others before yourself. But if you're saying he's abused then he has motive. Alright, I'll deal legally with Hoseok's father and then if he doesn't stop I'm suing him!" Dad promised. I looked up from dad and noticed Yoongi leaning against the doorway. Dad looked up and saw I was looking at Yoongi. He wiggled his eyebrows, kissed my cheek, then walked out.
   Yoongi walked to the seat beside me and sat down. I grinned at him and opened my arms. He wouldn't budge and looked at me perplexed. I wiggled my arms hoping he would understand I wanted a hug but he still didn't. "Yoongi I just woke up from a stupid coma I want a hug!" He made an "oh" face and then embraced me. He was silent for a minute before he sat back down into the chair and spoke, "Jimin did the doctor tell you what he did with your bear and sweets I brought in for you? I knew your first bear was long gone so I bought a new one and now I don't even see the replacement bear."
  Oh my god I lost Yoonie! He bought a replacement bear too! Aw that's so sweet! "You bought me a new bear? Even after you won me the first one, you got a second one? Yoongi, I really don't mind that the bear is gone. Sure I loved it, but items are only here for a short while, but the memories last forever. I appreciate the jester though, thank you!" I thanked him.
   "But the new bear was huge! It was six feet tall and I'm extremely curious how the heck they moved it?" Yoongi questioned. Suddenly Jin came back into the room with Doctor Lee. Doctor Lee seemed like he was struggling with something as he came into the room.
      "Wait that's the bear you bought me? Yoongi I thought you were exaggerating!" I exclaimed before smiling at the sight of the cute bear. The bear is huge! I can't believe he actually bought me a new bear!
   "Okay Jimin we sterilized your bear to make sure it couldn't spread germs to you. It's been here for multiple days but we don't know who brought it. There was candy beside it that we just put into the drawer beside you. If you can stay healthy for the next four days we will discharge you. You'll be unable to go to school or do anything strenuous, you could pop the stitches again and wind up back here for another two weeks or even longer." Doctor Lee spoke and then placed the bear beside of me.
  "So I can go home in a few days? Really?" I questioned. "Yep! Just don't cause your stitches to undo and you'll be okay. Make sure to take it easy when you get home, okay?" Doctor Lee replied.
