ONE

josh woke to the sound of his annoying alarm clock buzzing thoughout his room. he groaned and flipped over and grabbing his phone from his nightstand. he scrolled through social media and answered his texts.

darren: am i coming to get you today?
josh: yeah sure
darren: k be there at 7:30
josh: dont k me fucking asshole.
darren: k.

josh laughed and decided he should get out of bed. he sat up and stretched before shaking awake his dog jim.

"c'mon boy let's go outside" jim wagged his tail before jumping off of josh's bed following him out the bedroom door. he walked downstairs and opened the back door letting jim out.

"goodmorning joshua" laura, his mom said as she held his 2 year old sister, abbie in her arms. he smiled and made him some toast. his mom worked from home and his dad was a therepist. they each made decent money and they lived in a decent home.

after he made his toast he let jim back in and walked up the stairs to get ready for school.

"wake your brother up for me please!" his mom called out. josh groaned but walked to his brother jordans room. he grabbed a pillow and kept hitting him with it.

"wake up" josh said. jordan scoffed and flipped him off. he laughed and hit him one more time before walking out and into his own room and got ready.

josh heard darren honk and he grabbed his backpack off of his desk chair. he kissed him mom and his little sister and walked out the door. he got in the back seat since darren's girlfriend mia was in the front.

"what's up loser" mia said to josh. josh playfully rolled his eyes and looked at darren. "darren bro when are you gonna tell her that you and i are dating?" josh joked. a look of fake shock appeared on mia's face and she gasped. "you're cheating on me?" darren took her hands and nodded sadly before breaking out into laughter.

"y'all are dumb take me to school now"

a/n: this is the first chapter of sue me! it's kinda dumb and short but its an introduction. also i made mia a main character bc she is darrens real life fiance and yes i know darren and top don't know each other irl but oh well it's fanfiction and halsey and josh dont even talk anymore soooo. love u guys i hope u enjoy :)
