giving you the ending you deserve

I AM SO DEEPLY SORRY. I know its been 4 years since my last update and I left so many of yall in the wind I can't believe I ghosted yall like that. I read your comments a lot as I come back to wattpad a lot as a ghost mainly because sometimes I get in the mood to read fanfiction even though I no longer write it.

I cant believe you guys still comment on this fic even though it is inactive and you still show love it makes me so happy and I do reread this fic often and although there is soooo much I would change since I have grown tremendously as a writer I will never forget my roots :). This fic was so 2019 HAHA I love it.

Yes I still keep up with the band I don't think that will ever change those are my boys forever and I am actually seeing them on oct 2nd so maybe i'll see some of yall there in the pit ;)))

Without further ado, even though I no longer write fanfiction you guys deserve to hear what was going to happen with this fic so that is exactly what I am going to give you, so I hope you enjoy and I hope you like it <3

Where I last left off Tyler asked Josh on a date and Josh says yes surprisingly to Tyler. Tyler and Josh meet at a lake where Tyler apologies to Josh over and over and explains in detail why he did what he did and his home life and his insecurities on why he was with Jenna and the hesitation on breaking up with her. Josh listens and although theres a tug at his heart and the trust is not immediately gained, he decides to give Tyler one more chance. They spend the rest of the date with a picnic and Tyler horribly sings a song from The Flash to him on the ukulele.

Their relationship is slow, they don't immediately rush back into things and they take their time, Josh regaining his trust back. Tyler asks Josh to the prom by rearranging pepperoni pieces on their pizza during a date that said "T + J = PROM?" Josh was in love and swooning and undoubtedly said yes.

They go to the prom and have a wonderful time, this being the first time they are fully public with their relationship at school since Tyler came out. When starting things back up again they both decided they didnt want to be a commercial for anyone and did their own thing and were private but boy were they so happy and so in love dancing with eachother at the prom. That night they made love for the first time since before they "broke up." It also the first time they told eachother "I love you."

Josh got accepted into IU Indianapolis and Tyler got accepted into OSU with a full ride scholarship for basketball. They wondered how their relationship was going to strive being 2 hours away but they loved eachother so much to know that distance is nothing compared to love.

Josh and Tyler spent the whole summer together hanging out, having sex, going on mini road trips and being around their friends. They knew they were going to miss eachother so much but they knew it was only temporary. They would see eachother for breaks and holidays and they would make time to visit. They were both sure of it.

During the first two months of being apart, Tyler and Josh fought a lot. Almost everyday it seemed like. Josh found a home in Darren's arms during that time since he also went to that school and they were dorm mates. It was hard on the both of them not seeing eachother.

Things did get better once it was fall break and they could see eachother again, and things slowly did start to fall back into place as they found a routine in being apart. But Josh wanted more and he knew Tyler did too. So, during March of his first year of college he decided to make a rational decision—switch schools to be closer to Tyler.

He couldn't imagine his life without Tyler and they both didn't have the strength to be apart from eachother, they made eachother better.

Josh surprised Tyler at his basketball game with the news. It was the first time he had ever been to one of Tyler's games and now he'll never miss another one again. Tyler was so over the moon and so so in love and couldn't believe Josh did that for him. He wanted to marry him someday.

That was going to be the end of the book but I believe that they would've got married a year after they graduated and they would've still lived in columbus and Tyler was undecided in college for a year but then realized how much he liked drawing and decided to become an art major and now he's an art teacher. Josh originally was in pre-law but hated it and switched to buisness and now he owns a non profit animal shelter. They are looking to buy a house and Tyler still isn't that fond of Jim but he loves Josh so he'll manage.
