Joe and Dianne were in the Halloween week, and were dancing the Foxtrot to Youngblood by 5SOS.
Joe was really loving this dance, and so he wanted to train extra early in the morning until late at night so it could be the best it could possibly be.
Himself and Dianne were meeting at 9, and it was only a few minutes past when Joe arrived, and he knew that she would already be there and not care.
But when he pushed the studio door open, he noticed he was wrong.
The lights were off and no one in sight.
'Dianne?' He called out, placing his bag by the door.
He switched the lights on and felt his stomach drop.
She wasn't here.
She's probably arriving any time now.
He tried to assure himself, but he felt as if she wasn't.
Picking up his phone, he tried to call her, but it went straight to voicemail.
He sighed, deciding to leave a message.
'Hey Di, just saying that I'm at the studio now and I'm guessing you're running a bit late. I'll be waiting for you.'
Joe then hung up, glancing out the window.

When Dianne woke up, she knew that it was gonna be a bad day.
Her head was throbbing and she didn't feel great.
She dragged herself out of bed and walked into the bathroom, rubbing under her eyes.
She powered her phone on, picking up her clothes from the floor and changing into them.
Once her phone had turned on, she noticed the missed call from Joe.
'F*ck!' She cursed, realising she was over an hour late.
She ran out the bathroom, throwing her hair into a half up half down and shoving her shoes on.
She grabbed onto the doorframe as she felt herself sway, overwhelmed by dizziness.
'Dianne?'
Once she wasn't dizzy anymore, she turned around to see Anthony.
'Hey babe, I'm about to leave.' She picked up her keys and dance bag, before opening the door.
'What time are you coming home?' He asked, glancing at the clock.
The redhead shrugged, holding her head.
'Probably 10, maybe an hour before.'
He nodded, pulling her closer to him.
'See you later, babe.' He kissed her, making her smile.
'See ya.'
She then closed the door, the smile staying on her face.
She was so glad she'd found someone like him, so positive and loyal.
However, that smile disappeared when she realised the time.
Joe was gonna be so mad at her.

~~~
By the time she arrived at the studio, Joe was gone. No sign of him anywhere.
Quickly, Dianne pulled her phone out, calling him.
After two or three rings he answered, make her sigh in relief.
'Joe I'm so sorry-'
'Save it, you obviously don't care about this dance.'
She was speechless, her eyes full of tears.
'I-I do but I-'
He cut her off her again.
'Look, I'm already home. I'll see you tomorrow.'
And with that he hung up, not even letting her explain.
The redhead dropped her phone to the floor, collapsing next to it a few seconds after.
She burst into tears, which didn't help her splitting headache.
Eventually, she pulled herself off the floor and picked up her shattered phone, deciding to go home.
All she needed was someone to hold her, and that would be Anthony.
Or so she thought.
