'Joe, there's seats at the back!' Dianne exclaimed, dragging him along the bus.
Joe rushed after her, laughing.
'You're like a little kid.'
Joe noticed that Zoe was sitting at the front, smiling at them.
Joe sat down next to the redhead, who was glancing out the window.
'Did you sit at the back of the school bus? With the cool kids?' She asked, turning her attention to Joe.
He nodded, putting his phone into his pocket.
'Did you?'
She shook her head, sighing.
'I didn't really have the best time at school...' she trailed off, staring back out the window.
'I was the silent girl at the back of the classroom, who was barely noticed- Except from the bullies who picked on me.'
Joe felt his heart shatter slightly. He didn't know how anyone couldn't notice someone as beautiful and talented as her.
'I took dance lessons after school with my brother, away from everything. I didn't show my talent to anyone, because I'd just get judged.'
She bit her lip, glancing back out the window.
'It's crazy to think I only came here two years ago.' She smiled weakly, glancing into his eyes.
'It was the best decision of my life.'
He smiled back at her, taking her hand.
A feeling if electricity shot through both of them, causing them both to pull apart.
Dianne shook the feeling off, thinking it was just a static shock.
But deep down, she was thinking it was something more.
Stop, Dianne. You just got out of a relationship, away from someone who cheated on you. Don't fall for love again.
Suddenly, they realised they were outside the cafe.
'Cmon, Reddo. Let's go.'
They both stood up and walked out, meeting up with Zoe.
'Have you ever been here before, Dianne?' Zoe asked, slipping her phone into her pocket.
The redhead shook her head, looking at the name.
'I've been to one in Australia with a similar name.'
Joe pulled her into a side hug.
'You'll love it.'

Once they were inside, they were deciding what to order.
Joe had ordered some pasta and water, with Zoe having the same.
'I'll have pasta and the strawberry smoothie.' She told the barista with a smile.
'Ok, are you paying together?' She asked the two.
Joe shook his head and pulled out his card.
'I'll pay.'
Before Dianne could stop him, he'd paid.
'Joe, you didn't have to.'
He shook his head, taking her over to the side.
'This is an apology for yesterday. Besides, I always want to see that smile on your face.'
Dianne smiled, glancing at her phone.
'I'm going to the bathroom, I'll be right back.' She muttered and stood up.
Joe nodded and turned to Zoe.
Just as he was about to talk, his phone lit up with a notification.
'Ooh, tinder.' Zoe smirked, already unlocking the phone.
She had gone onto the message and was reading it out loud.
'Hey, it seems like we have a lot in common and was wondering if you wanted to meet up. - Olivia xx'
Joe tried to snatch the phone back, but Zoe leant back.
'Joe, why don't you try it? You've been single for way too long.'
Joe shook his head, but he knew that his sister wouldn't take no for an answer.
'Joseph please, she could be the one.'
She looked up at him with begging eyes, pouting.
'Please.'
He sighed, taking the phone.
Sure, where and when -Joe xx
He knew he was going to regret this.
