About an hour later, Dianne was crying with laughter as she watched back one of the videos of them dancing, that they'd just filmed.
'L-Look at your f-face after you mess up!' She laughed, leaning onto Joe's shoulder.
He laughed along, glad to see that Dianne was happier.
The redhead, tried to stop laughing, but ended up laughing harder.
She leaned back and lay on the floor, wiping away the tears from under her eyes.
'Right, let's try this again-' she said calmly, but giggled afterwards after she'd stood up.
Joe followed after her, beginning to play the music on her phone.
Youngblood begins to play as they both rush over to the starting position.
They then begun to dance the routine, not even stopping when they heard the door open halfway through.
When they were done, Dianne cheered.
'You did it Joseph! No mistakes, it was perfect!' She smiled, flinging her arms around his neck.
Then, they could hear clapping from behind.
Dianne turned around to see Zoe standing in the doorway.
'Zoe!' Joe exclaimed, jumping up and walking over to her.
He pulled his sister into a hug, with Dianne standing awkwardly in the centre of the room.
It was something about the siblings hugging that made her jealous, that made her heart ache.
She turned away and wandered over to her phone, noticing the recent texts from her brother.
Andrew: have a great day today sis, remember I'm only a phone call away
Andrew: I can't wait to see you in a few months time
Andrew: anyway, I gotta take Billy and Mia to the skate park
Andrew: text me when you get this, love ya xx
Dianne smiled, beginning to type out a reply
Dianne: can't wait to see everyone then, that is even if I'm in the final x
She waited for a few moments while Joe and Zoe were talking about the dance.
Suddenly, she received a video message from Andrew, which she immediately tapped on.
She turned the volume up before pressing play.
Billy and Mia appeared, smiling.
'Good luck Aunty Dot for Saturday! We love you, all the way from Australia and we can't wait to see you soon!'
A large smile was painted on Dianne's face as she watched the video as she opened her camera to film something for them.
But she stopped when she heard Joe calling her over.
She glanced over, biting her lip.
She placed her phone down and walked over, fiddling with the splint on her wrist.
'Hey Zoe.' She smiled shyly, standing next to Joe.
Instantly, Zoe pulled Dianne into a hug.
'It's so good to see you.'
Dianne smiled, pulling back.
'It's only been a few weeks.' Dianne giggled before glancing up into Joe's eyes.
'Do you think Joe's improved his ballroom techniques?'
'I better find out.' Zoe smiled, ruffling Joe's hair.
Joe took Dianne's hand and squeezed it.
'Right then, Reddo. Let's show Zoe our amazing foxtrot.'
As Joe led Dianne to the starting position, Dianne turned to face him.
'Just don't mess up now.'
Joe rolled his eyes, shaking his head.
'I can say the same to you, you've messed up more this week.'
She shoved him lightly, pouting.
'I'm stressed this week, like, really stressed.' She sighed, before glancing at Zoe and smiling.
'Ready?'
She hit play and they started to dance.
At the end, Zoe was clapping.
'That's amazing, guys!'
Joe and Dianne smiled at each other, bringing each other into a hug.
'How about we get the bus to a little cafe down the road?' Zoe asked, coming over.
Dianne thought for a second before nodding.
'Let go then.'
