LULU'S POV
While I waited for Ashton to come back in with Tag, I sat on the living room floor playing Uno with Duke."What's taking them so long?" I asked.
"Tag didn't tell you?" He asked.
"Tell me what?" I asked.
"In addition to the dinner test, Tag made his own test." Duke said.
"Oh, Taggy." I sighed.
"He's only trying to protect you, Lu. We're all trying to protect you." He said.
"I know, I know. That's why I love you guys so much." I said.
"Will you ever move back to Canada, Lulu?" Duke asked.
"I don't know. Possibly. I really like LA though. It's everything I ever wanted." I said.
"Well, we miss you, Lulu Pop." He said.
"I miss you guys too." I smiled.
We were finishing up our round when Ashton and Tag came back in.
"Hey, Ash. I'm almost done beating Duke." I laughed.
"Not so fast, baby sis." He said putting down a pick up four.
"I don't like you right now." I said.
"I'll meet you in the bedroom, babe." Ashton chuckled kissing my forehead.
"Ooh. PDA." Duke said.
"You're so annoying." I said.
"That's a brother's job, sis." He said.
Ten minutes later, we finished our game and I went up to see Ashton.
"Hey, Ash. How'd Tag's test go?" I asked.
"It went well. Or at least I think it went well. But why didn't you ever tell me about Brendan?" He asked.
"Yes I did." I said.
"You never told me the full story. How he was abusive. How you checked yourself into therapy." Ashton said.
"I'm sorry, babe. I just didn't know how you would've viewed me." I said.
"Lulu, I wouldn't view you any differently. I've been to therapy too. It's okay, babe. But from now as a couple, I don't want any more secrets. Right here, right now in your childhood bedroom in Canada we must promise to be honest with each other." He said.
"I promise." I said locking my pinky with his.
"Good. I love you, pretty girl." Ashton said kissing me.
"I love you too, baby." I smiled.
