ASHTON'S POV "Ash, is it okay if I go out to lunch with some friends? I haven't seen them in a while and it's been a while since I've had some girl time." Lulu asked.
"Yes, love of course it's okay. You know you didn't have to ask, sweetheart." I chuckled.
"Well I just wanted to make sure you'd be okay with just my brothers since you don't really know anyone else in Canada." She said.
"Yes, baby I'll be fine. Now go have fun" I said kissing her forehead.
"I love you." She said.
"I love you more, pretty girl." I said.
When she left, I sighed and laid down on her bed.
All I could think about was why she would hide her Brendan story from me.
Lulu's my best friend.
Why'd she hide something so big from me like that?
As I pondered, I heard a knock at the door.
"Come in." I said sitting up.
"Hey. It's Tor." He said.
"Hey, Tor." I said.
"Where's Lulu at?" Tor asked.
"She went out with some girl friends. Lulu doesn't have many out in Los Angeles." I said.
"Why's that?" He asked.
"They all think she's a slut and wouldn't be her friend anymore." I said.
"Stupid girls." Tor muttered.
"But what's up?" I asked.
"Nothing. Just wanted to see how you were. Trust me, I know Tag can be really scary sometimes." He said.
"I'm okay. I do have a question though." I said.
"Shoot." Tor said.
"Did you know she checked herself into therapy?" I asked.
He nodded his head.
"How come Lulu never told me then?" I asked.
"Because she's ashamed of it. She's embarrassed. She's hurt. That's the one thing she hates talking about the most and when you keep picking at it, she just snaps. She'll scream at you to leave her alone and then run somewhere and cry." Tor said.
"Oh. That makes sense." I said.
"Yeah. I know Tag probably told you, but please. For your own sake and Lulu's, don't ever bring Brendan up." He said.
"Alright I won't. Thank you." I said.
"Thank you too. For taking care of her." Tor said.
"She's everything I've ever dreamed of, man. Losing her would be the worst decision I've ever made in my twenty four years of life." I said.
"I like to hear that. We're trusting you, Ashton." He said.
"I know. And I won't let you guys down." I said.
"Good. Just so you know, the other guys will probably come in and talk to you too. But no one's as scary as Tag." Tor said.
"Okay. Thank you." I said.
He nodded and walked out of the room.
Although she's not here, I have just fallen even more in love with her.
All her hardships explain the way she is today.
And that's the girl I'm head over heels for.
