ASHTON'S POV "What's Tag's phone number, babe?" I asked.
"Why?" Lulu asked.
"Because I need to talk to him." I said.
"About what?" Lulu asked.
"I have more questions about Brendan and I know Tor said you hate talking about him." I said.
"Oh. Okay then." She said putting Tag's number in my phone.
"Thank you, sweetheart. Have a good day at work, babe." I said kissing her cheek.
"Thank you, Ashton." Lulu said kissing me.
I waited until I heard Lulu's car start to text him.
I wasn't going to ask more questions about Brendan.
I'm going to ask for their blessing to marry Lulu.
I know we only have a couple months under our belt, but I've loved her for four years now and I've been wanting to marry her since I bought this ring.
It's been killing me not to.
Anonymous: Hey, Tag. It's Ashton.
Tag Wilson: Oh hey, Ashton. What's going on?
Ashton Irwin: Not much. Do you have a second to Facetime real quick?
Tag Wilson: Yeah. Why?
Ashton Irwin: Just call and I'll explain
Tag Wilson would like to Facetime...
"What's going on, Ashton?" He asked.
"This is going to sound crazy, but just hear me out first." I said.
"Okay. What is it?" He asked.
"I am asking for you and your brothers and dad's blessing to ask Lulu to marry me." I said.
"What?" He asked.
"I know, I know. We've only been dating for a couple months now and you just met me a month ago, but I really do love Lulu. I've loved Lulu for four years and she's loved me for three." I said.
"What do you mean Lulu's loved you for three?" He asked.
"She's loved me for three years, Tag." I said.
"She's never told me this." He said.
"The only one who knew was Calum, but anyway, I bought Lulu this ring for Valentine's day. It's a two piece ring. The band part is the promise part and the jewel is the proposal part. I've been dying to make Lulu mine forever, but I knew I'd have to go through you and your brothers first." I said.
"You want my honest opinion?" Tag asked.
"Yes, sir." I said.
"I think you guys should wait. And when I say that, I'm speaking for all of us. It's nice that you guys have been in love for three or four years, but you never started dating until now. Maybe wait a couple years. No one is pressuring you. Plus, she's only twenty one." He said.
"Why are you speaking for everyone?" I asked.
"Because I know my family. They're going to say the same thing. Might as well save you the time. And if you try it behind my back, she'll probably say no." He said.
My mood dropped by a thousand.
"Oh. Well, thank you for your time, Tag." I said.
"No problem. See ya, Ashton." Tag said hanging up.
"I'm doing this anyway. Can't say I didn't try." I said to myself.
