"Dad......somebody wants to meet you."
I heard that crown prince Angel say from inside his father's study. Nasty Bespawler.... I thought.
"Who?" A dark voice asked, whom I assumed is the king. It's not that I didn't see an Angel before, that I did, but I was too young to understand--- beforehand I mean.
Too young to understand what they were doing, now that I have the mental capability of actually understanding what the hell they were doing with those Angels, I honestly pitied them. I pitied both the Angel victims and the devil's nasty head, purely disgusting.
Slave labor.
I always wondered why White-winged Creatures worked around Demonia until the red inside them came out, and no they didn't turn into devils, that was just blood pouring out from their tired bodies. But I did not overthink it.
"Uh hm," A voice clearing his throat cut me off my trance, I looked for the source and found Andrew poking his big head from inside through the door, "You can get inside," he said prior opening the door wide enough for me and Dora to get inside, which we did at once.
The King's study was exactly like the rest of the castle, I didn't go around the City yet but I can already predict it, the white porcelain tiles on the floor, the striped white and golden wallpaper printed on the wall. The Ivory oak desk, table, door, and you name it, It said it all. Away from the fact that it all screamed innocent, the white was starting to really affect my eyesight.
Needless to say, this place is the complete opposite of my city. And I liked it. It felt different; the vibe was different.
I looked at the King while he stood up from his study, I guess his son already told him who is here to see him, and although I'm certain this guy before me knows that I'm a rival, he still gave me the kindest smile he could. I tried to reciprocate my face expression, I don't know if I succeeded or what. But by the looks he gave me when I smiled at him, I rather not hear the answer for my aforementioned question.
I walked up to him and raised my hands to shake his, we may be Demons but we still have manners. Actually no, we don't. But hey, I'm trying.
"Good evening your highness," I bowed my head a fraction, just for respect, "My name is Dylanail-Don Dove, as you may have heard; the Crown prince of your paradoxical realm Demonia," I said, "And this is my half-sister Deadora Dove." I motioned at Dora.
She followed my act and shook the king's hand, In return he smiled knowingly, then I remembered that she mentioned that she saw him before so....
"Very pleased to see you, son." My father doesn't call me son..... "please have a seat and welcome to our city." Ethics, I see.
We did as he said, I sat down on one of the chairs while Dora took the other, Andrew just stood beside his father.
"So Dylan-ail-Don Dove, The son of the ocean," The king chuckled slightly, he seemed to get my father's innuendo, "I see, your father sure got a sense of humor." he said. I smiled in return, it was getting more awkward by time and I was unsure of what to do.
He was too tender, it was intimidating. He smiled, I couldn't but mirror his expression.
"So what brings you two here? I'm sure the Former queen won't be too happy about it." He muttered the last part about my grandma in a hush, mostly to himself. Is this bad history I can smell?
