Angelina

"Wait Allie!"
I heard Ashley call out to me from behind me, so I paused and waited for her to reach me. She started talking once she was in my zone.
"We will walk you to your house, it is in our way, anyways." she said as we made our way outside school. I nodded at her.
"Hold up, where is your brother?" I asked her when I noticed that Ashton was not with us. And since we passed the gates, which means that we are not waiting for him. I didn't see them all day, so I was curious about their whereabouts.
"I don't know, he's hanging out with Alex today." she said.
"Alex as in Alex Aaron?" I asked her, she nodded.
"I guess, we don't have many Alexs, now do we?" she replied as I shrugged. How was I supposed to know?
"Hey stay at my place then, we could do anything until your brother is done....hanging out. You know, better than staying alone at home." I told her she raised her head from the floor and looked at me while thinking it over.
"Sounds cool." she nodded at me, we walked a little doing nothing when she decided to word up.
"So what happened with your brother?" She asked, I smiled to myself.
"How did you know something happened with my brother?" I gave her a lopsided smile, she avoided my gaze at all costs.
"Well for starters your brother doesn't shut up, then there is the fact that he came up to 'check up on us'--or so he said-- and then he kind of bribed Ashton into telling him what happened. At five in the morning! who the hell does that!" she shook her head. "But don't you worry, Ashton didn't let any of it go, though."
"Don't mention it, I have already told him. And speaking of hell....." she looked at me and nodded at me, a sign to go on, "Me, you, and your brother need to have a very Important conversation."
"Regarding?" she asked.
"Hell...." I tensed while staying it, even thinking of it gave me chills.
"Interesting..." she trailed off. I nodded in approval.
"Indeed."
I had all day to think about it: mayhap our Angel blood really did turn into that of the Devils. The thing about being an Angel, Is that once you sin, you are done gracing us with your presence here in Angelina; long story short-- you get kicked out. There is no staying if you're not an angel. If you sin, you sin.
And the only source from where to figure out whether or not you are a Demon or even an Angel, is through two thing: first, your attitude and then your wings.
And right now, we kind of have a problem facing the latter, No matter how hard I wash them; how much I was them, the black color would not bulge out. Which only leaves me with one choice-- Dye them.
So I thought-- and I have been doing that a lot lately-- that maybe we really turned into demons.
I can't deny it, the truth is right in front of both my eyes. My wings are black.
