".....yeah but then Archer said that they won't unless they did so."
"So that's why the slave Trade stopped...." he dawned in understatement.
"Yeah, I remember when I was young I'd see Angels all around the city. I feel bad now."
"Yeah same..." Dora said, she was staring off at something, I know she needs time.
But Decklan had a different point, "You know I don't feel bad for them at all," he shrugged. "They trapped me all these years...." he trailed off.
"It isn't their fault you know, they didn't even know. If you should blame someone it's either your father or the wench queen." Dora reasoned.
"Don't you think I've blamed him enough? I've been doing it ever since the first day."
"Why'd you do it in the first place?" I asked out of curiosity.
"He said he'd give me the throne if I did," he shrugged, I was about to open my mouth and ask another question when he said that he doesn't want to talk about it, so I gave him his space like he needed.
After Decklan agreed to help us he told me to continue with the story, so I did. Not a while later I was done and we decided to get to action.
The sooner the better, my mother would always say.
We descended the stairs towards the dungeons, making our way to the hall that had the cell that the metal door was in. Thank Satan that the castle was empty at that time, specifically the dungeons, even though they are always empty.
I always wondered why are there cells here in Demonia if no one actually follows the rules? But then Decklan responded saying that when the slave trade was still on, they would hold them hostage here, How they transported them would still be a mystery to the three of us, according to Allie, Don and a few of the keepers are the only ones who knew about the tunnel. So that means that the slave trade wasn't from the tunnel. But where?
Decklan had his Angel camouflage in a bag he grabbed before we made our way out of his room, he said he'd disguise himself when we're in the cell. He always does that; his words not mine.
True to his words once we got into the room he did what seemed like his usual routine, the guy went there almost everyday for a couple of years. When Dora and I made sure that he went in through the metal Door, we left towards our planned destination.
If you ask why we followed him here, the answer is to make sure he goes in instead of ditching and does whatnot, After all, if there is one thing I learned through this story, is not to trust.
Look what happened to those who trusted each other, they all betrayed them. So even if Decklan and I grew up together as cousins-- I always considered him a brother; even though he figuratively turned out he really is a brother, but I am not to trust a soul from this day on.
We stayed there for a while to make sure that he will not come back as unplanned, at least we hoped he did, them sneaky demons can do anything they please, even I do.
We went up to the roof where we would usually take our leave.
"Let's go near the Nowhere door so we won't have to walk for long." My sist-- Dora said from beside me.
"And how is Decklan going to find out where the nowhere door is, you Sklepie-limmer?"
"I don't know, he said he'll find us." She shrugged. We did as she said and went near the door.
